Seems like us Liberals have an angle on reality whilst the Conservatives bury their heads until they are forced to accept it.

Do you have links supporting your statement/opinion that Bush has accepted the Iraq and Vietnam war are equivalent?

You claim you got your "information" from "creditable" news sources, but yet you still did not provide any links?! Not even from CNN, ABC, NBC, or CBS?
Is that because Bush has not made the comments you have stated? I forgot Liberals fabricate news when they cannot find any that supports their conclusions!

Vietnam was never declared a war by the United States Congress...until it does so, please call it what it was- a conflict.
One day, Americans will look at its history and see that without the loss of lives, we would not be here today.
Until that day, look at all the numbers and feel overwhelmed until you've totally forgotten why we went there, what we planned to do, and how we will eventually leave there.
If there is no sense of pride of the way we leave there, there will soon no longer be a place to go.
I am sure some will disagree- but what would there be to discourage them from coming?
If they feel like they can win there, they will feel they can here as well.
It's as simple as that.

I AM A PROUD VIET NAM VET. We would have won if the pol. had left us alone to do our jobs. Also if america had not sold us down the drain in Paris. The libs were happy then & if we cut & run again from Iraq they will be dancing in the streets because they again made the US look bad by not finishing the job. We have not won a war since 1945 because we have lost the will to see it through.The problem with N. Korea would not be there if we had done what McArthuer had wanted to do.Bosina& Somila were Democrats war so I guess they dont count. It seems alright to fight & run (Somila) but because Republicans want to stay & finish the job , then we are warmongers.I guess I have that bullet in my ankle from Nam for nothing. I do not equate the conflict against Communism with the "War on Terror." China is also not in the mix this time around. It is a very different war that will be fought on many fronts. Iraq is just one. The people of Islam need to get involved and make a concerted effort to rid themselves of these extremist nuts among them.
A very different war at a very different time in the world's history. We have to be in it to win it, or we might as well throw in the towel now and let the U.N. take over. (like they may do something about it).

What is your source that w accepts Iraq as a Vietnam equivalent? W has never, ever said Iraq was anything but a legitimate, justified blah blah attack on 'terrorism' and maintains he was right to start that war. He thinks if he says it often enough we will believe it.
