Nope, no Citgo for me.

I buy gas where's it cheapest. Usually, this is not Citgo. Flying an American flag proves nothing other than the person owns a flag.

Most of the Citgo gas stations fly the American flag around me. Doesn't matter - I will not buy gas or visit their mini marts as long as the profits go to Chavez.

I haven't bought gas at Citgo since I learned that it is Venezuelan government-owned. And there is a station 2 blocks from my house & it is sometimes 2 - 5 cents cheaper than the next-closest station which is a Marathon and only 1 block further away.

I've boycotted 7-11 because they are infringing upon my right to choose. I don't care where the gas comes from, I didn't even know it came from Citgo until they dropped them.

I never did in the first place, but if I did before, I surely wouldn't now.
To the poster above: The Citgo thing is in response to Chavez' comment about President Bush...not about the Exxon Valdez spill. =)

I never did anyway because they have crappy gas. But in light of Venezuela, never again. Venezuella signed a declaration stating that if the US wars with Iran that Venezuela will strike the US. Buying gas from CITGO = Funding bombs to be dropped on your head.

I get my gas at Hess. Not for political reasons, it's a block away from my house and is cheap. However, I don't believe there is an American flag flying there either.
