But I suspect the bar of insanity has been raised to such a new height that it will take decades for America to normalize.

How did we have good will with our enemies? Isn't that excluded by definition?
I take your point that iraq has ruined a lot of good will with our allies. But, I would add that the global left was looking for a reason to diss him, anyway.

We are all part of one country. together we stand, divide we fall. maybe if we supported bush, and helped him, he would do better. he's not the best, but he's trying. look, he's in office, andthere's nothing u can do about it. stop hating him so much, this is a hard term and its not like kerry, clinton, or hilary could do a better job. he's not our enemy, he's on our side. u liberals hate bush 10x more than the terrorists. do you not get the point that he's on our side??? No pres is perfect, but we still have to deal with them.
