Should we also free rapists, murderers and thieves now because jail limits their freedom?

I know that illegal immigrants can be helpful, but can't they think of a better reason for opposing anti-illegal immigration laws?

The US government, with the cia, trained the terrorist and set placed them in the middel east to couse a distraction whil they hire people to take planes (not hi jack, take under government order) and use them to attack our own country.
Then they blame it on the 'terrorists'. This was done to make a situation that could be used to justify going to war with iraq to spread american ideas through the world.

When are people going to wake up & realize this war in Iraq was nothing but a war of lies deceit & making Bush's friends at haliburton more rich than they already are? Thanks to this country Iraq is worse off now than it ever was under Hussein's rule. Seems like about 100 Iraqis a day die & the troops are not doing anything to stop this horrible death toll. how the hell can bush sleep at night knowing the deaths that he caused? It ain't over yet folks. We will be at war with North Korea or Iran or both before 2008 is over.

My friend decided that if anything ever happened to her she wanted me to be the caretaker of her little boy. The child does have a father and child does have the father's last name. He is a deadbeat though. She wants to leave him with someone who loves him and will take good care of him, she says. Not him. I told her the chances are not good. He would fight tooth and nail for the baby because it would provide him with income. So is there anything she could do? Or would the father automatically have custody if something happened to her? (hope it never does)

I read in someones answer, how can people make such a big deal over abortion, and yet think its OK for Capital punishment.. I mean, get real, theres a big difference between killing an innocent unborn child, to a death sentence to someone who has commited murder..

I have a friend and he recently found out his girlfriend is pregnant. They were both ecstatic as first but then she decides he will not be on the birth certificate or ever see the child. She doesn't even want him there for the birth. They broke up because he was smothering her. Any way he's very upset but does not know what to do. Will he have to spend a lot of money and lawyer up to get a paternity test? If so then what are his chances of getting the child's name changed and getting joint custody? He lives in Kentucky.

Considering the FACT that North Korea had nuclear material during the 1st Bush Administration, how are the rednecks, right wingers, neocons and other assorted idiots blaming (lying on) Clinton for allowing North Korea to build nuclear weapons?

Basically, its obvious that the rep. party's first reaction to NK testing a bomb was to blame Bill Clinton (a REAL PRESIDENT), but where do they get all this ridiculousness about Bill Clinton FINANCING NK?

The Bush Administration recently proclaimed "THERE IS NO MILITARY OPTION AGAINST NK" and that they might offer NK 2 REACTORS if NK will stop attempting to build nukes and dismantle the work they've done so far.

To summarize, The Bush administration - OFFERED NK REACTORS.
Bill Clinton did exactly what he had to do (offering food and appeasement) to NK and the simple fact is, UNDER BILL CLINTON THERE WERE NO NUCLEAR TESTS and NO NUCLEAR PROLIFERATION.

i have an income tax question. my boyfriend is single (of course) and lives in an apartment. he therefore has no house and owns no property for a tax write-off nor does he have any write-offs that are work related. he gets to claim his 2 kids on his taxes every other year. this year he does not get to claim them. he grosses about $35,000 per year. last year he claimed ZERO single (and got to claim his 2 kids) so he got a $4000 tax return. this year he changed his filing status to ONE single and does not get to claim his kids. If someone in his situation and income bracket claims ONE single, will they owe taxes at the end of the year?? We are hoping that he will at least break even and not owe anything...
