The US government, with the cia, trained the terrorist and set placed them in the middel east to couse a distraction whil they hire people to take planes (not hi jack, take under government order) and use them to attack our own country.
Then they blame it on the 'terrorists'. This was done to make a situation that could be used to justify going to war with iraq to spread american ideas through the world.

Why would any U.S. citizen even remotely believe anything said by a person who uses USSR4LIFE as their screen name?
But to answer your question, yes, I believe the government lies. All governments lie. I believe lying is sometimes a necessary evil that is used to protect those you care about.
I do not believe that the U.S. government planned any attack on its own citizens.

Right, this coming from someone who chooses to name himself after one of the least transparent governments in world history.
I would believe the truth if you told it to me, but what you just wrote is far from the truth, much farther than anything the government claims.
I'll ask the same question I ask all conspiracy nuts...if the attack was orchestrated by the government, why was it so destructive? Why attack the financial and military nerve centers of America, when an equally shocking yet much less damaging attack on a cultural landmark would have been just as useful in prodding the people to war?

I recently read a fiction story that had a parallel plot to what you are suggesting...I'll say now what I said then. Sometimes life can be stranger than fiction. The story was based on the premise that Iraq was planning on converting their petro-dollars to Euros which would, in essence, decimate the American dollar, so the government hired an elite team to blow the towers/ram the towers to have an excuse to invade Iraq and save the American Empire--with "acceptable loss of life"
Scary.
But plausible

I would actually have to say u might have a point. But at the same time why sacrifice a big part of americas economy for global expansion of propaganda? Sadams Hussien, and osama are two different worlds. We have a war on terrorism and a war on tyranny and genocide on two different fronts. I really dont want to believe they are linked.

No government in history could afford to tell the absolute truth. They would have been quickly put out of power.

I think...
... there are conspiracies...
and then there are theories...
... but there is a mountain of things that do not add up when it comes to 9-11...
granted...
even if only 1% of the theories are true...
then there really is a big fat rat...

You wouldn't know the truth if it tapped you on the shoulder.
Being too busy making up fantasy scenarios will do that to you.

I don't think so! The USA might have faked the moon landing but taking innocent lives I just don't think so. Was Katrina faked too? I don't think so either on that.
