You know - the people with the slogan "Marriage - one man one woman". Why do they only talk about gay marriage and not divorced people? Surely divorce is not part of traditional marriage and it's not one man one woman. Or is there some kind of creative math involved?

Traditional marriages are meant to be between "a man and a woman". It does not have anything to do with divorce, separation, death or missing in action.

I don't think that there will ever be a time when gays will be united in a "marriage". I don't understand why the government couldn't make a "legal union" or "commitment policy" similar to that of a marriage, where 2 people could share their lives together and have legal obligations that a marriage has.

Things have changed - so should we.

Sadly, gay couples tend to stay together longer than most married couples.

In a free nation we shouldn't legislate morality over adults.

For people that get divorced it is traumatizing. They should get counseling and find a new love.
