Called "Impossible to Ignore" by the NY Times and "One of the most important political docs of the past several years" by L.A. Weekly, "AMERICAN BLACKOUT" chronicles the voter disenfranchisement that occurred in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. As we approach November, it's important that we keep a vigilant eye on our election systems, making sure that all voters can get to the polls, and that their votes are counted proper.

"To All Americans of Conscience:"
"Please Use ALL of your extra time now to TELEPHONE ALL FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES to Register and Vote---OR BETTER YET, To visit the County Registrar and Apply To Become a POLL WATCHER. If ALL voters Apply--this will lessen the possibility of theft and insure that their votes will be counted."
Signed, "FIREFLY"
Will you get off the computer, and call your Board of Elections and go down and sign up as a POLL WATCHER? DO IT!
