my rommate has been stealing my perscription meds and broke into a safe I had in the room. I have reported it twice to the campus security but they really don't help. I don't want to move out because I have already paid for the room. Help!

Why is it that democrats and republicans hate each other so much? I used to be farther to the right than I am now, but even then I had alot of friends who where democrat. Now I'm an Independent and I get along with pretty much everyone even though we disagree on alot of things. I'm big on protecting the environment and things like that. To me it seems that we all should agree on protecting the environment sense we all live here! We are all americans so, why should we hate one another over our political views? Its almost like a new form of racism or a cancer that is eating our nation apart. And when so called "conservative christians" display their hatred its even more disturbing. I don't believe God approves of such behavior. Kinda defeats the purpose of being a Christian if you can't love your enemies as Jesus himself taught!

We have seen the Republican evil. We have seen the ignorance. All the circumstances are there for the Republicans to torture Americans.
Stop these redneck scumbags from embarrassing America.

I understand that the democrats blame us for pretty much every bad thing that happens, and that we are in no way related to everything good that happens in America.

I know that lately we've been playing the blame game with North Korea and Iraq. The Democrates say that it is us republicans fault that we are in nuclear trouble with North Korea.

Well maybe it is our fault, maybe its not our fault. But I have yet to hear of a democrate that even gives President Bush an idea for the problems in North Korea, other than we should just let them be.

The "rules of engagement" our fighting men are forced to abide by are not reciprocated by our enemy who engages in a kind of "assymetrical" warfare where "anything goes" "throw-out-the-rule-book" tactics have become the norm.

I'm of the opinion we should consider the Geneva Convention a relic of history and allow our forces the latitude to respond in kind to what they are facing.

Well, it appears that the 'bottom of the bucket' part of the world is catching up with the west in terms of nuclear weapons.

Realistacly, What in YOUR opinion is best deserved to N korea ?

I personally believe a full scale invasion + disarmament is what is needed to certify there nuclear program is shut down.

They pose a threat to the western world, and if a 'soft touch' of sanctions are imposed, as aposed to military actions, then more hostile nations will surely follow suit, e.g. iran etc.

These are nations that have publicly declared they would like isreal for example, wiped off the face of the earth.

Nations that have stated further aggravation by America / the west shall be considered as an act of war.

As ive said N.Korea needs to be invaded in order to secure stability for the free world.

But realistically i doubt it will happen due to the fact its a Large populous Army, and has much more advanced weapons then our recent conquests had.

Discuss.

Will it be Mitt Romney? John McCain? Hillary Clinton? Would the South vote for an LDS (Mormon) candidate? McCain is despised by many, so will that keep him from getting the GOP nomination?

Will the Iraq War guarantee a landslide for the Dems? Will Hillary be seen as too liberal to represent the nation and therefore not be elected? Will the Democratic nominee by ultra-liberal (Kerry, Hillary, etc.) and/or the Republican nominee be ultra-conservative?

Any and all input is welcomed, but please explain why you believe the way you do.

My 17 year old son blew the motor in a car I bought him. One of his friends has the same car, the body of which was very damaged but the motor was good. He made a verbal agreement with my son to purchase the car for $600. My son was living with my parents at the time as I was out of state for about 6 months. The car is titled in my name and my son asked for the title since his friend said he'd pay him after he got the title. For the past 2 months my son has been calling the guy (who has the car) and now he says he only wants to pay $200. I said no and if he isn't willing to keep the agreement that I want the car back. His father got involved because they put a motor in it. He says that motor doesn't run either and says the car isn't worth anything so he isn't paying for it. Again I requested the car back. He has the car in his fenced yard parked behind an RV. The police said I have to file a law suit. If I have the title and there is no contract, do I need to file suit? What can I do?

Americans generally don't have problems with different races, it's more the actions of certain groups. Many of the Mexicans that are flooding over the border refuse to assimilate by learning American customs and English. In many ways, since there are so many of them, they continue life as if they were still in Mexico and force Americans to adapt to them instead of the other way around (e.g., making us use Spanish to communicate with them). This is where much of the resentment is rooted in.

The opposing view always says that they shouldn't have to turn their back on their heritage - no one says that you have to alter your lives and forget about your Mexican heritage. Just try to learn English and show some RESPECT to our laws and customs. If you want to live here, become an American, not a Mexican living in America.
