California is a huge state with a very diverse population. Would an electoral system like the one we use to elect our president better benefit the people of california?

I'm not sure what you're asking. State Reps belong in the state legislature, not the Federal Gov't.

Okay, you mean U.S. Senators, not state reps. Now the U.S. Senators get elected by a straightforward popular vote in California just like every other state. That's in the U.S. Constitution. It isn't a choice for California to make; to have something other than a direct popular vote. If you have a proposition for something different, ..................... I still don't understand what you're talking about, .... "electoral system like the ... president.

god, no. it is an arcaic system for presidential elections. why would you want to even try that??
