From whom? Russia, China, Europe, the U.S. , Australia, and Canada all know the outcome. Terrorists, and Rogue Countries don't seem to care about the outcome. The threat is there from those types of cowards, which is why us INTELLIGENT people of the world are doing our best to prevent those idiots from attaining the bomb. If, say, Iran, North Korea, or a terrorist faction detonated a dirty bomb, or even a missile, on a country, then **** would hit the fan. That country, or faction, would be wiped out in a heart beat, by what ever Country was attacked, and then the danger would come from the radiation fallout. At this point, what is better? Further attempts at negotiation, or let 'em have it?

an atomic bomb...probably not. Though several countries have the atomic bomb (including North Korea), few have the capability of having an effective delivery system for it (either by aircraft or missile). Now, there was a plot by terrorist soon after the 2001 attack on the world trade center and the pentagon to explode a dirty bomb (bomb that would spread radio active material) in New York harbor I think using a ship to transport it. Luckily, our Navy Seals scuttled the ship before it could get to harbor.

We have always been aware that the bomb could be dropped at any time. The cold war taught us that. However, since the North Koreans have been testing nuclear bombs, the awareness has been heightened and brought out so all can see. That little man in charge has great aspirations and will need to be squashed. He has no idea of the problems he has brought on himself. He needs to take a good long look at his position on the map and see that he is only a little fish in a huge pond and stop what he is doing. But I think it will not be happening to soon, unfortunately for the world. He is going to rattle to many cages, only find out that some of the dogs are going to bite and when they do, God forgive them. We as Americans are the world police and will not put up with this nonsense much longer.

Although there's always the chance of someone fanatical pushing the button but doubt that will happen for every country knows retaliation will be horrible for them and the North Korea test was a fluke, failure. I'm more worried about Global warming and incensed that animal species are going extinct and still we drag our heels.Global Warming is a Very Real Threat Now.

Very soon if not sooner, a ship will take port in a harbor. in the waters of the united states of America, this ship will have a nuke on it, the timer will be set. then the people will get off the ship. go to another city , get a hotel room.and turn on the television set. lean back and wait. probably with a bottle of champagne, This city will be the city of new york city.there will be a very large explosion.it will kill a million and half are so new yorkers.right off.the feds will probably declare Marshall law. war will later be declared on the country they THINK was behind it,the draft will be instituted into effect.God bless the United States of America.and all of her people.

Only if Bush launches one:
First assumption: Bush and Bin Laden are connected because of the similarities in neo conservatism and Islamic fascism. Both ideologies say that a liberal society will collapse on its own immorality.
Second assumption: Bush would use the orwellian tactic of the government attacking their own people to steer their will.

Result: Bush might fire an American nuke, placed somewhere near Iran, cause we control Iraq which borders it, at San Francisco/Los Angeles to create the sodom and gomorah argument and maniplulate us into WW III

I'd love to keep optimistic here but everyone in the planet is exposed to nuclear bombing. It all now rests in the power of some people. I just hope someone does not push the button now. I still want to live a happy life... not a mutated life...

I don't hear about nuclear weapons much, so I can't say. There's this new stuff that the President calls nukular weapons and he says that Iran wants 'em and Korea has 'em. I don't know what a nukulus is or how it operates, but we're probably in danger of it.
