USMCsting... has a point. Sort of.
For millions of years this planet had an atmosphere that would be poisonous to us, and the dominant life form was algae.
Nature always survives.
It is just the very delicate balance of factors which allow humans to live on it that might not survive. Nature doesn't care if we continue or not, and we might not.
So it just boils down to whether you think the human race is important or the wealth of the people destroying the planet.

Of course -the Clean Skies act, which pours more pollutants into the air. Or the way he was so good as to cut funding to Superfund sites. You know it is always amusing to me that people actually think we, as humans, can actually "hurt" this planet. That is just ridiculous. But you know what they say... The bigger the lie the more people will believe it.
