I am so tired of the complex tax structure. The average American can't even think of filling out his own tax forms each year. Should the system be replaced with a flat tax, sales tax, or something else that you can think of?

I was watching Miami CSI one night and I heard the detectives speak in regards to an offshore gambling ring that was going on. They also made the statement that they did not have "jurisdiction" over the crime location but later in the show they made the arrests at that same location without ever explaining further details about the jurisdiction issue. Can anyone help me with this?

Why are you all so ignorant as to believe that illegals are being supported by your 'tax' money? You all keep saying that your tax money pays for the illegals and their education and their hospital bills. If you are not a resident, you cannot get Financial Aid if you wish to continue your education. You must pay cash. HOW ARE YOU PAYING FOR THEIR EDUCATION? Hospitals... wow lets not even get started with that one! HOW many WHITE American families are out there that do not have insurance? Im Mexican, should I be upset because my money is helping a poor white female have her baby? YOU need to start getting upset because your money is going to all the murderers and rapists and thiefs being housed in prisons. It's going to all the teachers that molest children. Illegals pay taxes but do not file their returns. The government takes all that money. Must be so hard on all of you knowing that a Mexican can cut grass, have 3 kids and still be happy and comfortable with their lives.

I am looking for comments, especially from the Japanese, about their military, as I feel that Japan could be a major force in the UN and in maintaining stability in the Pacific. As an ex serviceman (Royal Navy), I admire the Japanese Forces. World War 2 is now sixty years ago, and the excesses of all sides should be consigned to the history books. One question I do ask, is, have the Japanese raised any memorial to Rear Admiral Raizo Tanaka, of the famed "Tokyo Express" (Us matelots know and salute good matelots from the other side). If not, they should do so. He was a brilliant Admiral, and tactitian.

everyone working in a restaurant is illegal? Every field or construction worker? Lately it seems alot of people just assume that because you are either a non-white or has a foreign accent that the person is illegal. So many questions, like "If you go to a restaurant you will ALWAYS be served by an illegal."
Illegals are though to represent 2-3% of the entire U.S population, do you actually think they could fill every single laborer type position in this country. Honestly. Just because someone is hispanic or Asian and might have an accent does not mean they are illegal!!

I sent back the laptop for fixing, and now I am waiting a month and half already without any answer about when I could get my laptop back. Does anyone know where should I go for filling report for the store?

It just seems that this will just make matters worse with North Korea and I can not see how they will consider anything the UN decides is going to be unbiased.

Do we think it's going to work this time? I for one am (cautiously) optimistic, getting Ian Paisley and Gerry Adams to sit round the same table and to be talking the same language (politically speaking!) is nothing short of miraculous and I do hope and pray we can finally see a long lasting peace settlement in the province.
