There has been no evidence of radiation found at all -- there definitely would be had a nuclear bomb been activated, no matter how small the bomb was.
That's not to say they didn't TRY to and just ended up with a dud.
SOMETHING caused the small earthquakes, and that was most likely something exploding. But it wasn't a nuclear bomb.

honestly, i think it's an excuse to threaten or possibly to go war with N. Korea in the future. U.S detonates nuclear bombs and there is not much media hype about it

Well didn't see it myself but I do believe they attempted to detonate one and had an explosion but from what I'm hearing it sounds as if was a bit of a dud. 1/10 he size of Hiroshima bomb? Thats about the equivalent of 1,500lbs of TNT. I believe our fuel air bombs have a greater yeild than that. Basically it was a really loud bang that spread radioactivity.

i do but only because they told China how big it would be right before the test and of course the yield was much less
for the know littles there is no radiation release in an underground test THAT'S WHY IT'S UNDERGROUND !
the government ALREADY KNOWS the shock wave that they measured in many locations has factors that would tell them the speed and nature of the blast front ( that's how they instantly knew that the quake that happened off of Japan was a quake )
And due to our extensive testing they have a record of both small Nuclear explosions and large chemical explosions

Well, I don't think so. Kim Il Yung is so bored with being a dictator that he decided to play a trick to see how far his influence on global affairs goes. Also to get his people some exercise. Every North Korean, men and women, young and old alike were ordered to stamp with their feet collectively at a given time. It worked. He made headlines. Flipping from channel to channel he could see how powerful he was. you should have seen the smile on his face. Just divine!

They didn't becouse the government has video of the one that didn't detonate but they haven't got video of this one. It may be underground but that is just a cover-up. So no one thinks about it. The government just want's a war so they can make money.

We will know for certain some time in the near future. There are several countries' intelligence services trying to determine the facts.

I think they tried and failed. To initiate a chain-reaction nuclear explosion, you need a large shaped explosion as a trigger. It sounds like they had a malfunction and that the chain reaction didn't take place. Probably a faulty design.
