Before general elections political parties issue their election manifestos which are intended to encourage the electorate to vote for them. So often we find that what is in the manifesto bears little resemblance to the reality of a party once in government as they ADD to or OMIT from their published manifesto plans and promises . With the exception of emergency events which cannot be predicted beforehand the electorate would know precisely what they were voting for if an elected government had 5 years to deliver their manifesto, then the electorate could judge them on their success or failure in achieving what they promised before the election.

First of all, this is a dead serious question. Please don't post a BS answer because this is serious.......1 month ago my uncle came to my house and punched me in the face ATLEAST 12 times as hard as he could. I am a 17 yr. old male but this man is 6'4 310 pounds. I will try not to go into alot of detail but it was not my fault for him getting mad and punching me (neighbor lied and told him i threatened to cut of someones head which is a straight up LIE)......i figured since i am legally a minor (17) that i could sue him or get my family to sue him or something......my face is just now starting to recover from the beating and he DID leave blood.......I am upset right now because the same day he hit me, i called the police and filed charges, and they said "well, we'll see what the DA (district attorney) SAYS about it"...It is way too much to type on here but i just need some advise on what to do because they have no contacted me yet and its been a little over a month...advise appreciate

My flat (rented from a housing association) was broken into by the Police (I was at home, so they could have rang the bell) during an investigation. After the whole case, the landlord sent me a bill of about £1400 for the repairs. the investigating officer in the case said that the police are usually responsible for damages they cause during investigation, but all attempt to get information on who to send the bill to has failed. Does anyone know how to make this claim in London and which police department usually deal with this claims. please give me as much detail as possible. Thanks

On 9/22/06 at around 7:00 PM, I went in to the Regis Salon in the Paul Bunyan Mall located in Bemidji, Minnesota. My stylist - Eve - helped me decide on a hair style and took me back to her chair. She then proceeded to use a hair clipper to trim up my hair. Next, she used a scissors to take the requested 1/2" off the top. She brought in a cordless electric trimmer to do the detailing around my ears and neck, and as she trimmed around each ear, it felt to me like she was slicing my skin with a blade. Finally, she took what I thought to be mousse and shaped my hear into a mo hawk. This was not at all what I had asked her to do. I later also discovered that she had taken quite a bit more off the top than I had asked her to do, and had in fact sliced the skin behind my ears with the cordless electric trimmer. a customer service representative contacted me from Regis Corp and looked over my photos from the incident and was willing to offer me a $50 gift card as compensation. I think not!

So this is the worse day ever, i was on my way to work today as i do everyday, i got out of my house and into my car. I drove out of my block and out of nowhere a kid on a bike runs in front of my car :( i was going about 30 i had just stoped at a stop. i didnt even see the kid and i hit him :( i didnt know what the heck happen so i got out and i saw him there just laying on the ground i was about to call 911 but he got up and ran ... i called 911 anyways and when they got here they arrested me, i told them what happen and they said they just holding me till everything was solved, they had me on jail for 3 days with poor food and bad treatment and they just realease me and said sorry everything was cleared, what should i do ? file complains or what im lost.
