Just an opinion but we need cheap labor lets face it. I still think this should be acomplished by more LEGAL immigration from Mexico. Those that waited years to come legally should not be slapped by those who chose not to. We need to immediatly raise the quota's from Mexico to something realistic but we need to enforce our borders also. Lets face it, there is no great solution to this serious question.

I agree. Many illegals enter an almost slave labor situation.Their lives controlled by their bosses.Helping no one but the rich to get richer.
That is why I keep saying that it is these Firms that need to be given a fine large enough to hurt them.Or to be shut down.As long as there are businesses that hire illegals .There will be a large influx of illegals to fill the positions.

He was right. All foreign workers in the states should be legal (with a working visa). Also, the minimum wage for those without a green card should be lower because the cost of living in their mother country is generally lower, and small farmers in US can't afford to pay the minimum wage. (10 years ago or so, the minimum wage was raised and the New Jersey blueberry and other farmers stopped hiring workers and switched to "pick-your-owns").

Our gutless politifcians should quickly enact a law by which
foreign citizens can register for temporary work papers.

The foreign government should have to issue a background attest.

The foreign worker would have to pay some level of taxes, as would the employer.

We cannot justify the desire for cheap labor to take precedence over the laws of the land. If that were justifiable, we would still be slaveholders.

He knew that illegal aliens drive down wages for legal workers, point blank.

$200 BILLION DOLLARS a year in suppressed American wages are caused by illegal aliens.
