First we need to elect politicians that do what they say they are going to do, not just what they think we want to hear at election time.

We may have to consider dismantling the two dominant parties in both Republicans and Democrats.

It should not be a rich man's politics nor should people that have money be the only one's that can run for election.

Elections are suppose to be run with the conscious that anyone can run from any part of society not just moneyed persons.

The media would have to be on board and would have to give the same amount of airtime to those that don't have money for campaign ads.

Better yet, once a president is elected he/she should be made to name a senete that represents all walks of life from all of society including mainstream society.

Most of all we the people should give the low man on the totem pole a chance and not be so taking in by rich people. Mainly because people like Bush fails to understand the dynamics of povery, cutlure diffrences ect.... People from mainstream society do understand because they live it.

Because people would rather be told than to think, a lot of money is required for the candidates publicity. That money has to come from somewhere and most comes from people who want to buy "influence" by "buying candidates"

That, in itself, knocks the hell out of national discipline because it destroys trust and gives hidden people power they do not deserve.

We need more honesty in government. and we need a government that operates with less money to throw around. We cannot get these features without some Shocking Event that forces our government folks to get off their seats and move around a bit.

9/11 did it for a few months but when things quieted down they went back to their chairs and plopped down for a long rest.

Having too much money to spend is another route to corruption and to a government hard to trust. Whenever we get a surplus, instead of using it to correct our imbalances, Congress looks around for something to spend it on and usually that leads to "pork spending" and pork spending leads to distrust.

One of our big problems is that we have Senators and Representatives who have been in office TOO LONG. They are acting like Lords instead of servants of the people. Our entire Congress needs to be replaced with a whole new group of people; people who have yet to learn the tricks of siphoning off money for "Pork".
