today I watched a programme and it had a police women , and she was trying to catch this man , but couldnt even be bothered to run after him and she even said she wasnt , and he ran away, the police woman was young and very unfit, she was over weight and couldnt run , and couldn't catch the man

that just shows how poor and how weak the police are , the police should be always healthy and fit and can ran fast, this is no good at all that they even unfit than the people they are trying to catch, they job is to protect people , and because of they lack of training and unhealthyness and fitness, I see no point in they should in any way even be in the police force, this is not just the first time, but I always see fat police people, man and woman, the programme was a real programme show the duty of what the police was doing , this just show how we innocent people , are not at all safe from bad evil people, and can make these people even more braver to keep carrying on ,in breaking law

What will future historians say if we undermine the founding principle of Due Process of Law in our war on terror?
Will they say that the ideal of government being instituted among free men by consent of the governed in defense of the unalienable human rights to Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness, is a failed ideology?

More importantly, will the future be home to more despotic and totalitarian forms of government, if its people DO see the ideals of the U.S.A. as having failed?

right now politicians are afraid of a latino backlash if they enforce laws and punish employers who hire illegals, thats why we have such a problem right now. US politicians are afraid to protect our nation. yet americans are content to allow mexican americans to loosen the laws so more illegals can rape us.

racism?......bullsh*t...this is about paying my gov to do its job and protect our country from ALL illegals.

Which broadly speaking seem to be more naive than skeptical, Dems or Repubs?

Do you think bi-lateral negotiations with a terrorist is naive or skeptical?

Any amount of immigration, regardless of the numbers, is traditional and proper?
But from 1776 to 1976 America averaged only 230,000 immigrants, yearly. Remember, that average includes the great immigrating numbers during the turn-of-the-century's Great Wave, when the US was only 76 million inhabitants, industrializing and still expanding west. Contrasting historical averages with today's nontraditional immigration engorgement of at least 1.5 million permanent additions annually should provide a much-needed perspective to an otherwise distorted historical picture.

"It is both a right and a responsibility of a democratic society to manage immigration so that it serves the national interest." ? America is full. It is your right and responsibility to demand the US Congress establish and enforce an immigration reduction moratorium of 100,000 legal immigrants a year. Even if that number were imposed today, you still would not see the country's population growth rate stabilize until about 325 million, nearly 40 million additions. It's your future.

The United States of America, for the time being, controls the world. So does it not seem bizarre that the government of the world is chosen by a tiny proportion of its inhabitants? If Europe could vote in America's election, for example, would we not have a far more understanding, global leadership?

open your home and let homeless, illegal mexicans, poor blacks and disowned gays into your home. Why don't you feed them, give them support and let them sleep in your bed. You wouldn't would you, because you don't care, that's just a mask you put on to gain support and later dismiss them as a burden.

Why not tie skills development and labor shortage skills together with welfare to create workfare? Raise the poverty level to $27k but limit the time you can spend on welfare plus create a sliding scale of food stamp support that matches the cash spent on WIC and other staples rather than a flat fee? Tie the whole program to proven citizenship and remove the people from the program who don't land a job within 3 months of skills training in the skill(s) needed. We eliminate unemployment and bring a sense of dignity back to the whole program
