right now politicians are afraid of a latino backlash if they enforce laws and punish employers who hire illegals, thats why we have such a problem right now. US politicians are afraid to protect our nation. yet americans are content to allow mexican americans to loosen the laws so more illegals can rape us.

racism?......bullsh*t...this is about paying my gov to do its job and protect our country from ALL illegals.

They have (the politicians) created this atmosphere by allowing the illegal alien for years..... and then all of a sudden...... treating them like criminals. I have used many analogies in regards to how I view our current day situation. For instance if my son is allowed to eat all of the ice cream he wants, anytime he wants. I have always purchased the ice cream for him..... then one day he goes into the refrigerator as usual to eat ice cream... I see him.... I punch him in the mouth for eating this ice cream..... because all of a sudden I consider this to be an illegal action in my house......DOES IT MAKE SENSE. Or better yet why has the government not done something about this work force here before now.......DON'T YOU KNOW THEY KNEW THAT IT EXISTED..........and all along they were the ice cream manufacturers and all along encouraged this work force to indulge in the ICE CREAM..................... JUST LIKE POLITICIANS ALWAYS SAYING ONE THING BUT DOING ANOTHER.

Yes, there are those who hold their views on immigration for racial reasons,on both sides of the issue. (For every David Duke, there is a Congressman Gutierrez.)
This does not mean, however, that immigration is a racial issue.
And while the illegal immigration issue does attract racists, it is my experience that most of these racists are to be found amongst our pro-mass legal immigration opponents,in particular, among the ethnic-identity pressure groups and politicians.
To those (sometimes) well-meaning but confused people who insist that immigration is a racial issue, we always ask: "Well, then, since you are absolutely certain one's position on immigration is all about race, what are your racial reasons for supporting this current flood of illegals?"
This question often causes confusion. I believe that the confusion arises from our nation's unfortunate muddle-headedness on issues of race and culture. The current dogma of the "multicultural" ideology has convinced many Americans that "culture" and "race" are the same things. Just think of the endless paeans to multiculturalism in advertising, political speech, academia, etc.: they are always illustrated by a photo of people of different races.
This is dangerous and wrong.
While a black American and a white American might be different colors, they are equally American, i.e., we share the same culture.
Modern "multiculturalists" are the true racists when they elevate skin color to a place as primary as culture.
If we have racial problems today, how will our problems improve with a half billion people struggling to survive in an overpopulated country? Shouldn't we first resolve the racial problems we have instead of continuing with an immigration policy that will double our population and risk exacerbating an already increasing tendency in our country toward group identity politics?
Those who fear racial conflict or the rise of fascism should support, as I do, an illegal immigration time-out in order to take a breather, reassess what we are doing, and give the assimilation magic time to work.

I agree 100% Hopefully in the next 2 years middle-class Americans can get it together enough to elect a president that will work for us, not the rich, welfare people & illegals! Unfortunately, neither party has the best interest of the middle-class anywhere in the picture..

Our government should be worried about America back-lashing!

The American people trusted the government to be looking out for the interest of the people and nation. Instead they were looking out for their own pocket books!

The illegal aliens woke the sleeping giant! Now we realize what's been going on and our politicians can't be trusted and we need to vote them out of office!

I agree.
We should NOT allow the illegals to stay. I am totally against this also.
There's probably more to it though than what they're telling us.
Maybe the government is getting some really good drugs from the illegals.

Politicians are smarter than you and they know why they are doing it, if you are really concerned with enforcing the laws you can start by enforcing child predators jail time, drunk driving, child pornography, illegal welfare recipients, illegal disability claims, Murders going free, and I can go on and on. I suggest live your anger and ignorance aside and work on the real issues.
