The United States of America, for the time being, controls the world. So does it not seem bizarre that the government of the world is chosen by a tiny proportion of its inhabitants? If Europe could vote in America's election, for example, would we not have a far more understanding, global leadership?

Did their ancestors die for our freedom? Mine did. They came over from England in 1762 & has fought in every war to maintain our freedom. Europe will have to take every weapon from our cold dead hands of every true American to take over our goverment. Let me pick your Queen, Kings & Prime Ministers because almost none would be the same, esp an adultery & possible wife killer like the future King of UK. There is no global leadership up for election in the US, that would be the UN.
Let other countries step up to the plate like the United States has & maybe they would have more power in world. No guts-no glory!

Does it control the world? I doubt the Vietnamese would agree with you and it looks like the Iraqis definitely don't. If you're talking about nuclear capabilities, America can destroy the world twenty times over and Russia can only destroy it 10 times over, but the outcome will be the same, so whatever superiority they have counts for very little. However, the only reason your idea is a good one is because it would have stopped them voting for the most moronic and useless president a country could ever have!

I think that's the most idiotic thing ever posted here. Its bad enough we have illegal immigrants, dead people, and pets voting in our elections already. We don't need outside influences especially from other counties. If you don't want the USA governing the world tell your leaders to stop asking for our help.

They can, just cross the open border from Mexico and register to vote or vote under the name of some dead person.
