If a baby is born and the mother names the baby and uses her last name on the birth certificate, can the father fight to have the baby's name changed to his six months later? The couple are not married or living together, but he is the biological father of the baby.

I read about Juanita Barrick, and her accusations on Clinton. She said she was raped, and too afraid to come forward. She appears to have been less intimidated by Clinton, 30 years later when he became leader of the free world, and decided to come forward with rape accusations. They were unfounded (and tons of money and resources were used trying to confrim these allegations). Is it OK to call Clinton a rapist? If so, will you be honest, and call him an 'alleged rapist'? Or are you still set on being the judge, jury and executioner?

I think it's because people find it simpler to believe what their told and most people are too lazy to read and analyze information on their own.

As more and more americans lose jobs to foriegn competitors with relaxed tarrifs and free trade agreements we will continue to build a larger poverty stricken economy .
The rich are becoming an even greater threat to national security as the export jobs and foster an economy based on imported goods which may contain weapons of mass destruction in there hulls.
I am astonished that greed has won out over common respect and desency .
Are we all so sure we will one day be rich enough to ignore our fellow man and let his plite become one of acceptance .
We accept that an uneducated man who workes hard to provide all the good things in life must do so for our enjoyment .
He builds our homes and rents one .He ships our food and materials and struggles to keep food on his own table .He works to provide clean offices and collects our trash while living in poverty .All in all an effort is being made to religate a large portion of working americans into poverty. So a few can prosper. Just curious what MOS's have the least chance of deployment. My husband has been deployed once and I am not looking to have him go again. He is going to change to active duty army and I was hoping someone could tell me the best MOS for him that is not in Alaska or somewhere cold but that is not really deployable.

I THINK IT SHOULD BE!! You can get in trouble for threats to him but nothing else! It makes everyone look bad when people on TV are talking about how dumb he is or making jokes about him. You’re just giving other countries something to laugh about. Yes, I know "Freedom of Speech", but come on some people should keep their opinon to their self!

Recently my wife has had to undergo a series of tests becuase she became ill. She still has more to go and needs weekly or bi weekly appointments with an eye doctor. She also has to see a specialist concerning what is believed to be wrong with her. Her boss is making life hell on her and is writing her up and threatening to fire her for going to the doctor. After my wife's illness her boss implemented a policy that all requested days off must be turned in by the 10th of the previous month (i.e. for days off in October you must give notice by September 10). Given that we don't always know a month+ in advance of these appointments that is impossible to do. She has gotten written up 3 times for going to the doctor and bringing in excuses. It even said that a doctors appointment with a note from the doctor is against the rules. Is all of this legal? Im looking for any help I can find. Thanks

Im getting married and Im moving out to a military base in Germany. I was just talking to one of my sisters friedns and he really got me thinking. He said not to go and to let him have his fun and I should have my fun. The thing that got me the most was that he said Army marriages (or any military branch) do not last and if they do its rare. Is this true?

So I just got my notice in the mail saying that I passed the written portion of the test and I have to go in on Tuesday for the performance part. I have a couple questions, first how many more portions are there to this test? And once I pass the performance part will there be a waiting period? Also how is this job? I mean right now I work for myself so hours are VERY up to me and all..lol...so it it true that I am going to be working ALL THE TIME with a dispatching job? Or are the hours 40 hours a week? Or what? I certainly want some family time and all and Im spoiled now. I love my job now but Im trying to find out if it's worth it to switch jobs and work for dispatching where I will have nice benefits and all and considering the fact that I am only 22 I might have a good retirement? Anyway someone explain and let me know what Im getting myself into and if it's worth it. Also how much do you usually make? That's always important.

Don't quibble with the hypothesis that the Dems will take Congress. ASSUME that they will.

Does then, mean, that the Dems would REMOVE Bush through impeachment and trial and conviction? Would they want Cheney to take over the Oval Office? Is BUSH SO BAD that CHENEY would be preferred to him? OR, therefore, is Bush "safe", regardless of the current or future scandles and additional negative revelations about the outcomes of his decisions, for another two years.

Bush once said, "I'd like to thank Nasal Beard for that warm welcome." (he was referring to Hazel Beard). He was probably up all night giggling whilst planning that one. Some of the things he says are so funny they sound scripted. Many people say he's too stupid to have orchestrated 9/11. Maybe that's a cover-story.

I was fired 8-6-06. The job required valid driver lic and insurance.
My lic was revoked for parking tickets which enable me to get car insurance.I was required to use my own auto.I enter into a ayment
plan for the tickets .I moved and put in change of address but never received anything from the dmv regarding the revocation
I didnt realize about the lic because I was able to get my insurance for this year but when I got ready to renew with a diffrent company they notified my employer about about the license. The employer gave me 5 days to show valid insurance and license but with the amount of parking tickets I needed more time. Per unemployment I was aware of this policy and denied.
