Adam, I am asking this is response to the harassment i received for saying that people do not need to come here to survive. I was told that Mexicans have it so bad they have no choice pretty much but to come here ilegally.

The one guy that talked about the "heart of mexico" and how they have all the technological advances stated very clearly that there is no reason to come here illegally. So that just backs why this person posted this question here in the first place. They say their lives were so bad there, when they did NOTHING to better it. It is obvious that you can get a good living down there, no matter if you live in a tourist trap or not, so there should be no excuse coming out of their mouths as to why they are crossing the border illegally except that they were too lazy in mexico and want to live freely off of us.

I don't know why everyone is acting so ignorant. I think we all know what you mean about the rants of illegals and their supporters saying that there is no jobs and no food to be had there. And we all know that that is just an excuse for most of them, who want an easier life with built in benefits. If they were truly such hard workers why would they need anything from us? I've been to Mexico and stayed with REAL people, and the food was good and plentiful. They also ran their own business, as did many of the people I met there. These people were not rich. They were not white either, if they'd been any browner they would have been black.

That is a horrible question. Have you ever been to Mexico? I'm not talking about Puerta Vallarta, Cancun, Cabo, etc. I am talking about the heart of Mexico. My dad is from a very small town in the south of Jalisco. I am amazed at the technology advances the small town has made in just a short time. I mean, they have Internet Cafes, running water, modernized houses, great cell phone reception. They benefit from the fact that there is great farmland in the area to raise cattle, chickens, pigs, goats, etc. Please, before you start running your mouth, actually live and get to the know the people before you talk trash about them. They may be simple people, not rich by our standards, but they are happy, and they live one day at a time. And remember, if you are making an inference to illegal immigration, please don't single out Mexicans. You must include El Salvador, Guatemala, and other Central and South American countries that are going through political turmoil and civil war.

Your question is sort of an oxymoron. You are asking why can't people survive where they are in fact surviving. Of course in the long run everyone doesn't survive because we all will die.
You don't make sense.
Mexico is a country of extremes. Between 2 beautiful homes will be some shacks. There are slums everywhere. The rich do very little to help the poor. Corruption is a way of life.

are you retarded? it just sucks in mexico. why are you here? have you ever moved? are you still in the town where you were born?
good job! that's what being a human being is! you look around and try to improve your life the best way you can!! if you're lucky enough to live here already, what makes you think no one else should?
and adam pointed out how ludicrous your question is. i have never seen you ask one that was not pointed... are you interested in the debate or just in the fight? we should acknowledge the fact that immigrants came here and demonstrated. they aren't simply fleeing countries, they are fleeing corrupt political processes that keep them from being able to enact change in their countries.
i think that's pretty brilliant. our response should be to lean on the governments of those nations to become more functional, rather than to fight about how lucky we are to be in a nation people flee to...

Mexico is very classicist. The dark brown, indigenous, people can't survive because they are discriminated against and shut out. They are also uneducated and accustomed to primitive lifestyles; which it makes it even harder.
The European people survive well in Mexico.

Do you have childeren? If so don't you want the best possible life for them? If not don't you want the finer things that life has to offer? People don't choose what race, birth place, nor there parents to which they are born.

Some actually love their country and choose to stick it out, others want to get out but can't, still others are too busy exploiting the rest to want to get out.
