Why do Republicans feel insulted when I ask this?

he's their leader they are supposed to. By the way I read somewhere that his I.Q. is 89. so you get the picture if that's true!

Not even close. His father, assuming he's still a member of
the GOP, is way more intelligent than he is, and so was
Colin Powell. Jeb, Dubya's brother, is more intelligent as well.
I can count at least two men in Dubya's own biological family
who belong to the GOP who are smarter than he is.

No. Actually cheney is because he was able to sucker bush into running for president in the first place so he would make sure that his company and all oil company's would make money like a bunch of Banditos!

Most people don't recognize his intelligence. He beat the military draft 30 years ago. He's never worked a day in his life. He stole the election in 2000. Just because he's a murderer and a scoundrel you can't underestimate his intelligence.

IMHO, President Bush is smart enough to know how smart he ISN'T and surround himself by people who can pick up the slack. That is not a bad quality to have, to be fair. It is a strength to know your weaknesses.
Also to be fair, the low IQ question was a myth. "Snoops" debunked it.
