Need to find out the codes and rules for plumbing/ running pipes in buildings in nyc.

Some states require it, but democrats are against mandating it nationally.

Can anyone give me a reason (other than wanting to cheat) that someone should not have to have an I.D. when they vote?

Democrats were against them even after saying they would not charge for them, and they would go to the homes of people who could not get out, and supply them with a card.

. . . is not the point? Why do Reps and Dems hurl insults and denegrade each other? Why is this site covered with mean close-minded generalizations on both sides? Wasn't the 2 party system created so that 2 sides would be represented? Aren't the images of hate mongering Reps and flip flopping Dems partly tactics of politicians to gain votes and to rile up the other side?

Don't we have enough dissention outside of our borders to be encouraging and reveling in it inside of our borders? Aren't the issues more complex than, "If you didn't want war, then you're worse than a terrorist" or "If you do want war, you're an idiotic aggressor"?

How about if the voters make the change. Tell the politicians from now on, all you want to hear and see is why you should vote for them, not slander & lies about the opponents. Aren't you tired of voting for the "lesser of two evils"? The Republican Committee has earmarked $50million for raking up muk to use against the Democrats, who I'm sure have just as much handy! I for one am tired of hearing the crap they shovel not only at election time, but all the time. How about leading the country for a change huh? Tell the candidates if they get negative, they don't get your vote! It's up to you the voters!

Anyone have the answer? About a month or so ago gas prices were almost a dollar more per gallon than they are now. I turned on television like any other inquisitive citizen looking for some answers. The Bush administration and all the executives of the oil companies pointed to China. They said that the reason why we are paying $3+ for gas is because China has industrialized so there is more demand for oil. Makes sense. Demand increases worldwide, so does my daily commute. Well, summer has gone and now all of a sudden gas prices are steadily dropping. Gas is now about $1.00 cheaper than it was a month ago. What happened? It's obvious. The Chinese MUST have decided to all ride bikes and cut production in their factories. How else can you explain it? The Bush administration cares about the middle class American family that is struggling to keep up. They and wouldn't lie to us, right?
