Every year about this time the price of gas goes down. the summer driving season and air conditioner use is mostly over and the need for heating oil hasn't increased much.
It's merely supply and demand, and not a pre-election conspiracy.

If the democrats win any hold in Washington I won't be worrying about falling gas prices with all the new tax increases they bring with them I won't be able to keep a car on the road.
