Well, I dont know about smarter but this country and its government need to stop pretending there isnt a problem because quite frankly there is......and you are right in calling it a Holy War. If our Government thinks that russia and china are on our side they are wrong........Each of these countries from what I understand has volunteered to give these terrorists nuclear weapons someone who is on our side doesnt go and do that........if these nuclear weapons reach the hands of these terrorists you can bet there will be a world war 3 that is going to happen.
These terrorists arent gonna stop.....does anyone really think the promise of land from isreal or any where else will really appease these killers? No, it wont ......oh they will act like it will and then after a while they will charge in and kill and slaughter as many as possible. They arent going to stop because of a so called peace treaty.......they wont stop till they do all they can do to destroy Isreal and the United States and if that happens and Yes dont think it cant.... then the world and our lives will be turned upside down.
These so called terrorists are cowards instead of using themselves they use their women and children.....they put bombs in their baby's bottles full well knowing that when they go off it will kill that child and all those around them. They teach little ones as young as 2 that People who dont follow their type of religion deserve to die and that includes citizens of The U.S.A. and people of isreal. Do you realize what will happen if these terrorists are allowed to take over ..........anyone who doesnt worship as they do will be killed......beheaded to be exact.......this isnt a game anymore.......its a matter of life and death.
People of this country and our government need to wake up and take the blinders off and see that there is a problem and the only way to solve this problem is to keep on fighting till every terrorist is wiped off the face of the earth......We as christian citizens need to ban together and pray for Isreal and our own country and its leaders like never before....God Help us all in this fight of life and death.

You're right, we should do things like keep captured terrorists locked up at Club Gitmo until the war is over. I don't remember us holding trials and returning captured Germans back to Hitler in WWII.
We are winning, but it doesn't seem smart to allow terrorists to go free only to have them attack us again (which has happened seveal times). We also shouldn't scream about secret CIA prisons or alternative methods of interrogation. I'm sure that if we ask really nicely, the terrorists will tell us what we want to know. Or not.

Ignoring the terms Holy War or Crusade... Yeah, people have to be both smart and lucky.
No-one can prepare for every eventuality, though.
So, we also need to find ways of limiting the damage from the 'hits' that get round the net, not over-react, and show that day-to-day life continues as normal with minimum disruption. Only then can we talk about beating terrorism.

I'm not sure why you think this is a holy war. But being smarter than the enemy in any type of war is usually a good thing.

It is no Holy War, just plain old terrorism.
We are smarter than them & winning. It has been 5 years since
an act of terrorism has occured on our homeland.

This isn't a Holy War. Muslims are supposed to give warning first and give their enemy a chance to convert to Islam before attacking. Osama Bin Laden did none of these.
