I worked in retail as a cashier for a year or so and I would ring up customers who paid with a food stamp card (so much money for food only purchases so much for cash items like diapers and clothing). Many would buy DVD's and televisions and digital cameras with their cash allowance or buy shrimp and crab legs with their food allowance, there were actually some instances where food would get put back so the dvd could be purchased. I see these as luxury items and should not be allowed to be purchased with gov't provided money. Why should I be working to get luxury items when these people can get them for free? Is there some way to regulate purchases or somewhere to contact to look into this? I realize it would be tedious to monitor everyone's spending but I think its beyond rediculous to get taxes taken out of my paycheck to provide an entertainment system for the "needy".

I attend church and believe in God but think religion should not be forced on anyone through our schools. I don’t believe in gay marriage but do believe gays have rights. I support the death sentence in all ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ cases. A war vet two times over I believe in keeping and maintaining a strong military but still believe Bush lied to us. I go deer hunting and believe in the right to bare arms but don’t think anyone should be able to buy a machine gun. I support civil rights but I think welfare has created a new age slave state. I believe only women should decide what they can do with their bodies. I believe a flat tax is the only true democratic way to levy taxes.

So, label away!

The Republicans say "The Democrats will let the terrorists overrun us." The Democrats say "Bush Lied, People Died." While all this going on, there really are people out there who want to attack and destroy the United States. Our focus is greatly diverted, and it is almost like we are in denial or not serious enough.
Do you think this could be a fatal problem if we are unable to face reality and unify as we did right after 9/11/01?

Is it possible that they meant freedom of denomination? Did they really mean religeon, did they even have Budhistism, Hinduism, or even Islam in mind? Did any one of the Framers leave England to practice any other world religeon?

BEFORE YOU ANSWER, keep in mind, this maybe the "Mark of the Beast" the bible warns us against.

If it is, you may be condeming a person to hell, which maybe a fate worse than death.

Further, you can also expect to be next, not to far in the future.

Lastly, If people try to remove it, you can expect the mark will be injected inside the skull soon.

I heard these two kids I know talking about 9/11 and how they didn't really know what the World Trade Center was when it was attacked. These are the same gullible kids who eat up all the conspiracy crap thrown around over the internet by sites like loosechange.

I know not every 18 year old is ignorant of the facts, but it scares me to think that some of them are clueless. I guess it is a good thing that their demographic traditionally has never had a good turn out at the polls.

JERUSALEM – The attack today against the United States embassy in Damascus was orchestrated by American intelligence to embarrass the Syrian regime and extract political concessions, a senior member of Syrian President Bashar Assad's Baath Party claimed to WND.

"We in the government are 100 percent sure America was behind this attack, which is not the same as other attacks by Islamic groups," said the senior Baath party official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"Only the Americans can succeed in carrying out an attack just 200 meters from President Assad's residence in the most heavily guarded section of Syria," the official said.

The official claimed the U.S. first directed the attack and then ensured it was foiled to "prove Syria is filled with terrorists and to put us in a weak position."

The U.S. did not foil the attack, however. Syrian security forces reportedly stopped the assailants after a 30-minute shootout, although there were some reports U.S. Marines stationed at the embassy took part in the firefight

Is there a law in WA state that last paychecks must be picked up in person? I worked for 2 weeks in retail for Macy's before realizing it was NOT for me, and subsequently got a job using my degree. Can I request they mail my last paycheck? I have emailed several times but have yet to hear back.

no change orders were made, the drawings were never revised, the engineer was aware of changes but didn't inform the board members, engineers inspected job and passed it knowing it was not what the contract documents contained. I feel this was done hoping it would never be discovered, I have since uncovered the job and found it to be completly unsatisfactory.

We were attacked on 911, and we need to obey president Bush and his decisions. To question him is to give aid and comfort to the enemy. Why do these liberals fail to see that by not obeying Pres Bush they are in effect commiting acts of terrorism?
