I agree with him 100 %. It is what so many have been saying all along. And watching him, listening to him and his commentary brought back all of the anger towards George Bush and his current administration. They did doop so many of us into backing the war, and then threw it right back into our faces when we started opposing it.
He made perfect sense. When someone is right, what else do you say to it? I think Keith Olbermann said it perfectly. What do you say to it other than "yep".
Thank you for the link. I hope that those that will badmouth the commentary (and inevidably you for posting it) realize that he is not the only one with those feelings. Too many have them, and it is frightening how right we are.

WOW !! thanks for the link. I respect Olberman and like his style. What some of the people above didn't get is that the empty space is a metaphor for what the Bush Admin. has done. I was behind Bush for nearly a year after 9/11, but it faded as I saw the partisanship by the ruling party and the entry into a war that 1/2 of Americans would soon regret. I see no leadership or striking wisdom in Bush and Cheny--I see powerful men seeking more power. I agree 100% with Olberman.

1. Keith Olberman has made my skin crawl since his ESPN days. I only watched about 3 minutes of it.
2. It's MANHATTAN. Most buildings take years to have the permits and okays to be built. I heard someone from the city planning commission who said that same thing. They plan on having something built by the 10 year anniversary. Typical for that area. Where does he think the money's going to come from? The sky?
3. If the terrorists have "won", why have there been no more attacks on USA soil? Why was the plot to hijack planes from London to the USA foiled?
He probably made more points, but like I said, I've hated him for years and couldn't watch that whole thing.

The first guy to answer your question didn't get the message at all nor will he . It is truly tragic that the reporter feels he must give a prelude such as he did of the personel loss so as to deflect remarks of unpatriotic and unamerican and terror supporter. He does so in anticipation of an attack on those levels and not on the any other.
The truth has been marred up in some drum beating and band wagon jumping military men who want war. War is a horrible and tragic thing but there are those who love death and pain and torture and who will twost normal human feelings to thier own evil ends.
Freedoms in word with no ability to exercise are merely lies in a sugar coating. The reporter is aleging bribes and so forth he is pleading for rational thought I fear he will get none.

i do not understand why friends of victims think that gives them the right to pretend the right to talk empiricaly about the 9/11 tradgedys, all i hear is an ignorant userper to speach bitching over the fact that ground zero has not yet been covered(this means to me that he cannot face his fallen colleages and tell these malicious lies). THEN he quotes disney and the twilight zone. He should be ashamed of the way he uses his affiliation with victims to give him some kind of athority when speaking for withdrawl, insecurity all to falicitate his pusilamious liberalism. this is nothing but the political gambit of a shameless man

Oberman isn't the only one who is disgusted with Bush for using the anniversary to "stay the course". Even his supporters were angered by his speech. I love Oberman. Esp. when he gets at his producers for making him report on the stupid stuff . Well, I gotta go and watch election coverage on MSNBC.

Thank you for that link. Those are powerful words that needed to be said. K.O echoed the thoughts of many Americans. It's too bad that our own leader doesn't recognize how far off the course he has strayed.
