The only time we as a country can seem to stand together is when something terrible, like 9/11, happens. and that only lasts a year or so and then it is back to normal. Do people forget, or do we just need something like that to happen to remind us who we really are and what this nation is suppose to stand for?

Before I married I believed that England was a less racist society. Boy was I wrong! What can my husand, who is working in a factory where they are all either temps or on one year contracts, get help when his employers have the upper hand and sack anyone who dares to suggest they are being racist ? and there's never been a trial.

No one was charged, arrested, or tried for
that crime either.

But there have been lots of "terror plot"
arrests in the US and the UK since 9/11.
