These are Bush's new proposed rules for trials of suspected terrorists. Do you think they're necessary, tolerable or an assault on our system of justice?

I don't agree. But if you can get the 6th Amendment repealed, go ahead.

And for those people who mindlessly argue that the 6th Amendment only applies to citizens, try reading it first. Then try reading all the Supreme Court cases that have interpreted it.

I think I understand why the US refused to sign the International court documents. That kind of behaviour would have them charged with War Crimes and put before a tribunal so fast he wouldn't have time to get someone to read the charges to him.

I agree with coragryph, want to point out exactly why for people who are too lazy to read the document... they generally don't refer specifically to citizens, but to people (person) or just don't mention whether it's a citizen or not. these are rights which apply to everyone in any dealing with the u.s.

I don't know why Bush doesn't just have 'em all killed. We all know that what he really WANTS.
