I met her while she was in the US , and she went back to her country. I know there is a 10 year bar for doing this, but can I pay a fine in money to bring her back with me to the States? I am madly in love with her and her with me, and we just want to be together. I am an American citizen and have all the rights to bring my wife back with me. SHe is not a criminal , she only overstayed. And she went back to her country because she wanted to do things the right way so we can get married as we just did 1 month ago.I need a solution.

you are probably looking at 4th or 5th Mexican Americans who dont even speak a word of Spanish, yes they might be fat lard assess like most Americans.

Has anyone of you that state that actually been to Mexico or other Latin American countries? I take not, you would see that they dont have and obesity problem. Again, their diets are not like that of ours.

Is just so much wasted effort?
Has anyone else started to feel that Democracy is possibly not working like it should. That is, that no matter what an individual or group may do to support what it believes to be the correct way to do things or to go forward for the best interest of society or for law and order, the sytem does not support or provide a realized outcome for those working in this Democratic fashion. Does anyone get a feeling that government on local levels and higher up is no longer functional. Why do you think this may be, if you do feel this way?

Mexican Criminals Hide In Los Angeles Area
Los Angeles offers a congenial environment for Mexican criminals who want to hide from the Mexican government.

LOS ANGELES – The killers cross the U.S.-Mexico border, assume new identities, get jobs, blend in among Spanish speakers and sometimes enjoy freedom for years.

But these fugitives from the law aren't border-jumpers heading south. As the recent arrest of one of Mexico's most notorious fugitives at a modest home outside Los Angeles showed, some criminals escape justice by heading north.

In the last 10 months, federal immigration officials have helped locate 13 Mexican murder suspects, along with hundreds of other criminals, hiding in plain sight in the Los Angeles area.

The vast Spanish speaking populations of LA provide an environment in which criminals can hide.

"There are large pockets in the L.A. area where you could live forever without having to speak English," said Jorge Field, who oversees the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement's fugitive operations teams in Los Angeles. "As long as you're law-abiding in the United States, as long as you don't have any contact with police, you can fly under the radar for a long time because there is such a vast population in this area."

Of course, some of these fugitives violate laws and harm people while they are in the United States. They are criminals after all.

It doesn't seem fair that candidates jump from state to state
and people can see how this first state (like Iowa) voted and
then the second etc> and this could lead to how people in
other states vote

In the world of media hype it's hard to distinguish fact from sensationalism. To help me can anyone answer the following questions:
Since 9/11:
+ Have terrorist attacks world wide increased or decreased?
+ In the UK and/or US, how many media stories have there been about terrorist plots?
+ How many people have been actually charged with terrorist offences? (not including animal lib or NI terrorism)
+ How many people have actually been found guilty?
+ How many were serious threats (i.e. sentences more than 10 years)?
+ How many stories have appeared showing people being release from custody without charge?

Thanks.

The liberals have never led the country.

I think its because the republican give liberals a bad rep so when the republicans screw up they can just say a liberal insult and everything with just bash the liberals.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said the Canada-U.S. Softwood Lumber Agreement would be put to a confidence vote.

New Democrats said they're prepared to force an election over the issue and the Liberals appear ready to side with the NDP when the House of Commons returns in the fall.

If we return a Conservative government we are garentted to have the US foriegn policy in our House of Commons and there will likely never be a debate in the house again

If we vote NDP it's a pull out of troops in Afganistan litigation over softwood until your grandchidren are dead but at least it would be an independant government from Bush and Co.

What about the ever silent Grits?
I want the troops out of Afganistan but I do want the Cdn military presence incresed in the Artic and I do think someone should buy the Armed forces equitment built after 1955 .
If the Tories lose (and with 34% of the seats they will) in a non confidence vote who will you vote for and why?
