Women that abort their unborn babies gotta
have no soul. People need to use birth control
to avoid this problem. So many nice couples
would love to adopt some of these unwanted
babies, but the baby's mothers let doctors
scrape them out of their wombs piece by piece
instead. They should have to watch an abortion
once at least before they have one themselves.

Ok. I'm not sure where you got the seven year thing from. But there are problems inherent in the adoption process and the surrogate process. You have to prove you're a stable solid individual with a good income and time for a child before the adoption process even begins. With surrogacy, there's a chance that the woman carrying the child won't give it up when it's born - happens all the time. Not everyone is eligible to adopt, which is why there are hundreds if not thousands of children awaiting adoption.

As to the abortion thing - that's a womans choice, at least for a little while longer. There are myriad reasons why a woman choses to abort. If people are so concerned about it, then why don't THEY adopt? Take in a child who has aids or fetal alcohol syndrome or downs syndrome or is crack addicted? Furthermore, why would you want a child to suffer, being born to parents who don't really want or can't afford him, who is left alone in the world, who will most likely be abused and neglected and taken away from his home by the state? The foster care system sucks too. People don't think of all those things when they talk about abortion. They see it as murder. Well, as far as I'm concerned, there are worse things. A child suffering needlessly by abuse or neglect is far, far worse.
Someone above made a great point about moms killing their own kids - Susan Smith, anyone?

Well think of it this way. That's 50 million less mouths to feed and 50 million less people dependant on a failing social security, health care, and welfare plan. Not to mention 50 million less people looking for employment in states where unemployment is raging like a ravaging plague due to outsourcing to countries like China. Speaking of whom kill their babies as well and their economic system is still swamped with people making two cents and day.

women abort babies for a lot more reasons than people realize. i hear all the time about how it shouldnt be used as birth control, and with that i agree. if you got pregnant just because you didnt feel like going through the hassle of prtection, than i dont agree you should abort it. but thats just me. i'm pro-choice, just because of the fact that even though i dont want to do it myself, we dont have the right to make it illegal and make choices for everyone else. and a baby isnt a baby at the time of conception either. besides, theres good reasons to keep it legal.
of a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, and does not want to have the baby, i dont think she should have to just because someone else says its immoral to abort it. sure, theres people out there who want to adopt it, but i'm sure if you ask a women if she would want to carry the baby of a man that raped her, she would say no. and she has that right.
and despite the fact that theres people who want to adopt, not all those people should have kids.
just this month a 3 year old boy went missing in my neighborhood. his name was Marcus Fiesel. His foster mom said he wandered off ro was taken she passed out at the park across the street from my house. the community searched for him for 3 days, and this past week it came out what happened.
his foster parents said he "misbehaved" so they tied his hands, wrapped him in a blanket, wrapped it in tape, and left him in closet for 2 days while they went to an out of twon family reunion. Marcus was dead when they came back. so his foster dad took his body and burned it three times, then dumped his remains in the ohio river.
and you want to tell me a child would be better off placed in a family like that??
a lot of people become foster parents, because they use the kids as meal tickets. on average, a foster family recieves 30 dollars a day per child, and thats on top of medical and everything else, which is laready covered. so even though the foster system and adoption system can be a good thing, theres more corruption in the child care systems than people know about.

There are many reasons that women get abortions. I don't believe in abortion as a form of birth control. I also don't believe in abortion for myself. But I don't think I have the right to make that choice for someone else. Do you? I agree that they are unrelated.

Abortion is not new its been going on in various forms since we walked out of caves. There is no point in baning it and makeing people get risky DIY abortions with coat hangers.

The two are unrelated.

Abortion if legal in the state is the choice of the mother and can't be made otherwise by law untill abortion is abolished

I did my senior paper on adoption and adoption is a very long process to go through just because there are lots of laws and processes to go through as they are trying to find "fit parents" for these children.

The woman who decide to abort do not want to go through with the pregnancy. Personally I'd rather go through the pregnancy.

People kill babies usually because they are not mentally sane. For instance Andrea Yates, insane, killed her children.

People like that should not adopt children.

The waiting list is not 7 years FYI. You have stated incorrect information about that.
