I met her while she was in the US , and she went back to her country. I know there is a 10 year bar for doing this, but can I pay a fine in money to bring her back with me to the States? I am madly in love with her and her with me, and we just want to be together. I am an American citizen and have all the rights to bring my wife back with me. SHe is not a criminal , she only overstayed. And she went back to her country because she wanted to do things the right way so we can get married as we just did 1 month ago.I need a solution.

If you are married, then check with Immigration and Naturalization Service. The ultimate thing you can do if no solution is found at INS is to get a lawyer who specializes in Immigration law. Good luck.

The way things are going 'it sucks to be you'. How's Columbia, this time of year? LOL Not to be too cynical, but this whole immigration issue has Big Ugly written all over it, answers range from 'open the gates' to 'cancel ALL immigration, period'. YOU are 'stuck in the middle', and citizenship-by-marriage may well become a thing of the past, too...

I exceptionally propose you do no longer try this. that's not in basic terms unlawful, however the girl might desire to be placed into extreme hassle besides. besides, fraudulent marriages might properly be observed actual. Wait till you get your green card and then marry.
