yes!! I went there and there are no restrictions on buying. However, what you want to do may be illegal. You are only authorized to buy limited quantities other wise you need a permit from the state department.

Yes, it's legal, but ... there are many issues involved: product specification, manufacturer due diligence, contracting, payments, labeling, customs (import/export), quality control, shipping, product liability, taxes etc.
If you've never done import business before, you'll need to do a great deal of research to get up to speed on these issues. It's easy to get ripped off or just disappointed, so failing to do your research (general and specific) will easily lead to disaster.

you need to get import permission to have a business, I'm sure, or for expensive items, but you could buy it online and order it shipped to your address in America. It may be complicated to run the order without a good knowledge of the Chinese language (English is taught, but not neccesarily fluently used)
