If France never sold us the land, then the U.S. would not have to worry about it, and the French would be responsible for all the damages. Or, we could blame Jefferson for buying it.

This all makes about as much sense as blaming Bush.

If a conservative (one who openly despises liberalism) claims proudly that the United States is the greatest country in the world and criticizes "liberals" (espcially for liberal criticism of the U.S.) and liberalism, how does that same conservative cognitively reconcile the fact that the U.S. he or she loves is a "liberal democracy," VERY LIBERAL compared to most other nations, and this is indeed its heritage! How can a conservative really love the U.S. when the U.S. is historically the very thing the conservative hates: liberal?

Just had the pleasure - the man is right on and says it like it is. Not suited for tender ears because of expletives, which only drive home his point, highlight & underscore what he has to say. I found this clip via tvnewslies.org at http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=935607276
What do you think?

The scandal that broke out in the Convent of Our Lady of The Blessed Shroud, Saddlebrook, NY re: the Nun lesbian lovers that broke their vows of silence to confess to their Mother Superior and were then immediately ousted!

Sister Maria Giuseppe of Our Lady of The Blessed Shroud
wrote about the same situation in her "tell all" book,
"Shout It From The Belfries".

She broke her vows of silence AND confessed her Lesbian affairs in one fell swoop and both she and her Lover were defrocked and Excommunicated the same day !

Now they are suing the Church with the help and full support of the ACLU and demanding to see Hillary Clinton their Senator saying to reporters, "Hillary understands Lesbians"!!

What say you?

And abortion, and amended the constitution to make gay marriage illegal? Has their failure to do so changed who you will vote for?

NOTHING WEHATSOEVER!

Iraq did NOT attack us on 9/11.

Saddam, a secular Baathist, did NOT have a working relationship with Al Qaeda. They consider him an infidel.

We face a bigger threat from Iran. But we're using "diplomatic means" there! How pussified!

When will you LEARN?

I can't even criticize the clear fiasco that is Iraq without you idiots accusing me of weakening our fight against terrorists. Iraq has NOTHING to do with that.

Hi there,

how does the first two months (august/sept -1914) of World War I relate to American History?

I am having hard time figuring this out because U.S. did not even enter the war at that time.

Thank you,
Jennifer

Good morning SIr or Madam,
I will try to make this brief and to the point. I sold a motor vehicle to a person last month with a percentage down and the remainder to be paid in 2 installements. It was a personal sale and because the buyer paid a majority of the monies, I gave the buyer the title and bill of sale on good faith. I had intially drew up a contract but the buyer had slightly altered the original terms so my husband typed up a new contract with the details. I was working at the time of the sale so my husband signed my name on the contract between the buyer and myself. Can I take this person to court based on the above information and win?
Thank you,

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you're probably American.

If you laughed scornfully, then you're also American.

If you laughed gleefully, then you're British, Canadian, or Australian

If you laughed really hard, then you need psychiatric help.

Here's what:

-- Eventually over a trillion dollars wasted.
-- 2600 dead and counting.
-- MANY more disabled.
-- 100,000 INNOCENT CIVILIANS dead.
-- America has lost respect in the world.
This matters!
-- The Middle East has been upended, and they have more reason to resent us.
-- We are LESS secure, not more!

Now, paranoid rightists, prove you're unfit to even have an opinion by responding with contemptuous non-sequitur, like you usually do.

not more than 1 person per family is employed in Government? I.e., Brother and Sister, or Two Brothers cannot be both in Government posts. Only one per family. This will open up the Govt jobs to those who need it most. Also, the entire reservation system must be scrapped and appointments be made soleonly on the basis of merit.

Last time we checked, Jesus said "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." That, and "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth." God, Earth, Peacemakers, the Meek. Little details like that. Apparently, W. doesn't read the Bible much. So why does he use the Bible to alienate people?
