I have a friend who was recently incarcerated, he is innocent, but I will not go into to much detail here.

I am curious to know though, if thier are any programs/support groups online for the falsely accused and thier families.

Knowledgable answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jason.

Less than 10% of US citizens have passports, with even less than that amount ever having been out of the US, yet if Yahoo! Answers is anything to go by they are well informed about International Affairs. Are they really just pretending to know?

In the West , nobody could accurately predict the verdict of a court case , so if we can definitely believe and quite sure Saddam will be found guilty and shall face the death penalty , then something is not quite right in this banana court.

Recently there have been questions on Yahoo! about why everyone hates the President, why there has never been a woman or black President. etc. Yet ask a question about restricting the vote to those competent to use it and the same people get all protective about democracy. You can't have it both ways. I live in the UK, where only about 20% of the population voted Labour (the rest either voted for someone else whilst about 40% didn't vote at all), yet we have a Labour Government which, it seems, the vast majority of the British people detest. I suspect the same situation exists in the US. It begs the question - is democracy all it is cracked up to be?

Historians will certainly agree that there are many similarities with the economy, the legal system, the people's attitude, the war machine, the aggression, the religious and political attitudes, finances, external attitudes of us, restrictive internal rules and regulations, camps, etc. etc. that parallel Germany's rise to power.

My question is this: At what stage is the Government? and at what stage is the American people at,... to accepting this form of political distraction, that it is willing to abandon the Republic and its own constitution of these united States that it would ignore all the obvious signs around it now present, in all phases of its existence.

Those who read the Bible, can see the Rise (and Fall of this Fourth Reich), and therefore, know "the rest of the story" as Mr. Paul Harvey says. This is Satan's last bid for the role as the God he can never be, for he was defeated at Calvary. From a historian's point of view, I want to know where you think we are now?

I hear very little discussion abou the fact that Israel has nuclear weapons. How much of an impact do think it has had in preventing another full scale war between Israel and the Arab countries? Do you think they would use them if backed into a corner?

The Democratic party started with their spin campaigns months ago. With only two months left Bush is on a US tour trying to salvage the Republican chances. Does anyone honestly think the Republicans can swing any undecided voters, or win back deserters in sixty days?

"We take into account the experience of the past and we cannot ally ourselves with ultimatums, which all lead to a dead end," Interfax news agency quoted Sergei Lavrov as saying.

"Yes, there are countries whose policies raise doubts, and cause discontent, but we all live in the same world and we need to ... draw them into dialogue, and not isolation and sanctions."

The tone of answers from the bulk of Americans answering questions related to Israel, Palestine, Lebanon is nothing less than sickening. The USA Press must be so biased to spread so much vicious hate I am glad I no longer live there. I do not condone any violence no matter who the perpetrator is and I do not support other countries interfering and supporting either side morally of financially.
I honestly believe that if Israel did not have the support of the USA the problems in the middle east would have been over ages ago
It is a war of retaliation each side blaming the other unfortunately Israel tends to over kill there actions and responses. The Palestinians do not have tanks, helicopters and fighter planes and unfortunately have volunteers prepared to die for there cause Like the Kama Kazi pilots in the 2 world war.
I live in a country that is now governed reasonably well by people who were once regarded as communists and terrorists. These political leaders are now respected world wide as true statesmen. MANDELLA & MBEKI

Can a company force a union to accept terms of an unsigned contract, call it a contract and then pretend the union acceptd the terms by continuing to work for the company?

And what if the company forbids striking? Does the company have an unfair (or illegal) advantage?
