In the West , nobody could accurately predict the verdict of a court case , so if we can definitely believe and quite sure Saddam will be found guilty and shall face the death penalty , then something is not quite right in this banana court.

The Iraqi justice system is very heavily influenced by France. Most of the lawyers trained there. There is very little American influence on the panel.

Saddam is lucky to be alive. That is only because the US is protecting him and making sure he gets his day in court. The Iraqi's would have ripped him apart long ago and drug his body parts through the streets. He was found guilty in the first trial. There is no escaping his fate.
