"We take into account the experience of the past and we cannot ally ourselves with ultimatums, which all lead to a dead end," Interfax news agency quoted Sergei Lavrov as saying.

Wow. An adult in the room! How did that happen???

Of course the US objects! Our foreign policy has taken a sharp turn to the zionist. It's a point so far right, it's almost left again. All matters are settled with arabs using bombs, bullets, bayonets, torture and rendition to friendly torture states, imprisonment without due process, going against Geneva Conventions and of course, sanctions and other punishments.

Iran is not like Iraq, though. Iran hasn't been a dependency of the US since the days of the corrupt Shah, and they have minds of their own. It's not like Saddam, who inexplicably complied with sanctions that killed over a hundred thousand of his people in ten years. Iran has oil, and they know how to use it.

I bet next China will state that they also don't want to put any sanctions against Iran.

Iraq regime change could have been achieved with few dialogs. Bush cornered iraq in to a war purposely.

I hope he doesnt do the same with Iran. The war with Iran will be more bloody to US Pride ( If any left)
