Not 100 percent sure, but based on comments he's made in the past, I'd guess democrat. I mean he's been quoted as saying
"I think George Bush is a beacon of light for everyone, male female, dead and alive, and if you love Jesus I think he's like him." (Sarcastically)
And also if you take a look at the lyrics to waiting for the world to change, his newest single, they would lead you to believe that he's either a democrat or really just doesn't like the bush administration... Check out the song and see what you think.
