Though I agree that everyone should speak english, I don't believe the should only speak english wether at the store or at home. By everyone speaking english in the United States, life would be much more easier simply because we no longer would have a language barrier. That wouldn't be comfroming or assimilating to the lifestyle of others, not in my opinion, because you can keep your native language and speak it when you want, but you'll know english and you'd be able to use it when needed. What I don't agree with is people that want everyone to comform or assimilate to an "American" lifestyle. When you find out what an "American" lifestyle is please tell me, this country's roots and heritage are not of one country but many. All these cultures have fused together to create what we have now and will continue to fuse today, tomorrow and in the future. I will not comform to a certain persons lifestyle, where would it end? What happen to our freedoms then? What do you think?

He is in the US airforce and been here since October 2004 - we have known each other from the 1st day he arrived in England, been together since Feb 2005 and I have been living with him since Jan 2006. All the bills are in his name, only my cell phone bill and bank statements come to our address. He is returning to the states in November and we will apply for a fiancee visa. They will obviously need proof that our relationship is valid. We have 1000's photos in many different countries together, some emails that have been sent throughout the years, but i have thrown all the phone bills and not stored the online chats we've had. What kind of evidence is needed?

I have just read and replied to someone saying there is going to be a Muslim Only Day at Alton Towers. I did put my thoughts to his answer.

I have now looked at Alton Tower's website and it is a Private Corporate Event. So it has been booked for and paid for by a private company so yes this is acceptable.

Sainsbury's did this several years ago and it was for employees and their family only.
Many companies book corporate events like this every day of the week all around the world mainly a thank you for all the hard work they have put in over the past year.

This is a strong willed, politally knowledgable and determined woman. She has proven beyond a doubt that she can hold her own under pressure. I think, (in my own opinion mind you) that she would make a great Presidential candidate..Maybe It is time for a change!!??

My b/f just told me he wants to join the navy to help pay for college. And I don't know what to think. I feel sad like he's leaving me but at the same time, I don't really know how it affects me.

I do. I'm in the Navy. They drink a lot. They look for girls all the time. They smoke cigarettes a lot. Several guys I met said they joined because of the drinking. Do you think this is true or do you think I'm just crazy?

My opinion, I never met so many stereotypes in my life.

Do you think this is the case? It's easy for a country supplied with our weopons to beat up on a country without but if the enemy was equally armed I don't believe Israel would win.
Also what if the tables were turned and Israel was the country with a weak military and Hezbollah had the powerful military would they fare as good as Hezbollah? I think no.

If Hezbollah is supplied by Syria and Iran then they are really no different then Israel as they are supplied by the US.

It's not even Israels land.

What legal means are there to vent my extreme rage that, yet again, Blair turns his back on Europe (and most of the international community, ...and on common sense....) to - yet again - support DUBYA's foreign policy and refuse to call for an immediate ceasefire in the Lebanon/Israel crisis?? Any ideas? Can I legally make my next tax cheque payable to George W. Bush, as we are now clearly governed by Washington????
