The EU has no military might to enforce it's rulings. The UN has only slightly more, as close to none without being none. Neither can enforce any ruling.

The US (like most large nations) has the military power to back up its wishes.

And we support the military effort against the Muslim terrorists. I would hardly call it an occupation. If Isreal wanted to occupy all of Lebanon and completely and utterly take it over, it would have already happened. But then why would Isreal want that huge headache.

The just want to force Hezbollah to use up all it's rockets. Two or three more weeks ought to do it.

The French in the Rhineland is not an analogous situation. Apples and oranges.

Because Jews have a very strong lobby in the U.S. Governement! Did you know that Jews contribue 25% of all contribution given to political parties in the elections althought they are only 5% of the U.S. population!!!

That's your answer! And that is why the U.S. is now a target to all kinds of terrorist organisations!

Everytime there is a decision against Israel in the U.N (like today), the U.S. veto's it even when Israel deserves such a decsion.

This only shows that the politicians in the U.S. are too corrupt to think of the interests of the whole country than it's people!! They prefer to receive the bribes (contributions from the Jewish lobby) and do things that only bring fear and terror to the U.S.

I believe the U.S. can stop all the attacks against it by just being fair to all sides or just not interfering at all.

Now don't understand me wrong, I have many jewish friends buy that is the truth!

Where did you see that it was illegal ? Anyway, it lasts several years, and was done to oblige Germany to respect the Versailles treaty. And German were not launching rockets onto french towns from there...

EU is working to help putting an international force in south lebanon. Of course this can work only of hezbollah will give up their weapons. Hum. Please recall me what they (hezb.) said ? Something like that they just intend to send more and more rockets to Israel and use more powrful weapons ?

Completely irrelevant comparison thus.

It does not appear to be an "occupation" but rather an "incursion".
