cricket : yes they are against Zionism but not against Jews. there is a big difference. Even the jews in Iran who are proud of their heritage are against the 'zionism of the current israeli govt!

Yes I knew and thanks for mentioning it.

The world should know that Arabs & Muslims are not against Jews, we’re against Zionists and the brutal actions of Israel against helpless people.

Yes but there are Jews and than there are Jews. Many Jewish people don't believe that Iranian Jews are anything like a Israeli Jew. Also there are reason's why they are in Iran. over 2000 years ago they were scattered and had to flee to different countries. Some went to Iran. They have been there for over 25 hundred years. Also it is illegal for an Iranian to go to Israel. They could be shot for entering the country. Also 20,000 Jews does not make a a huge number of population. Not trying to argue just adding a little to the question. I will say that yes they were issued a fatwa(sp) protecting them but I assume this is because they are Iranian citizens. But than again my assumption may be incorrect.

UM?

Exactly which of the following Iranian parties do these Jews belong to?

@ - Executives of Construction Party (Hezb-e Kaargozaaraan-e Saazandegi)
- Islamic Iran Participation Front (Jebheye Mosharekate Irane Eslaami)
- Islamic Society of Engineers (Jame'e-ye Eslaami-e Mohandesin)
- Militant Clergy Association (Jame'e-ye Rowhaniyat-e Mobarez)
- Militant Clerics Society (Majma'e Rowhaniyoon-e Mobarez)

Minor parties based in Iran include:

- Association of Islamic Revolution Loyalists
- E'telaf-e Khedmatgozaran-e Mostaqel-e Iran
- Freedom Movement Party (Nehzat-e Azadi) now forbidden
- Iranian Nation's Welfare Party
- Islamic Coalition Party (Hey'at-haa-ye Mo'talefe)
- Islamic Iran Solidarity Party (Hezb-e Hambastegi-e Iran-e Eslami)
- Islamic Labour Party
- Islam's Students (Daneshmandha-ye Eslam)
- Moderation and Development Party (Hezb-e E'tedāl va Towse'e)
- Mojahedin of the Islamic Revolution Organization (Sāzmān-e Mojāhedin-e Enghelāb-e Eslāmi)
- National Confidence Party(Hezbe Etemade Melli)
- National Religious Forces(Niroohaie Melli Mazhabi)
- Society of Forces Following the Line of the Imam
- Unity of Democratic and Secular Republic in Iran ( Ettehade Jomhourikhahan-e Iran)
- Workers' House (Khane-ye Kaaregar)

------

What was that about a HUGE Jewish population?

* The major ethnic groups and minorities include the Persians (51-65%), Azeris (24%), Gilaki and Mazandarani (8%), Kurds (7%), Arabs (3%), Baluchi (2%), Lurs (2%), Turkmens (6%), Qashqai, Armenians, Persian Jews, Georgians, Assyrians, Circassians, Tats, Pashtuns and others (1%).

Jews make up a fraction of 1% of the population. Maybe about 50,000 to 60,000 people at most. Hardly huge in a country of 40,000,000 people.

Would you care to provide your sources for your claims? Or will you just admit that you or whomever you got the info from just doesn't know what you are talking about.

Precisely. The antagonism that many of us feel towards Israel is generally construed as anti-semitic. It is towards a country not the Jewish race. No human being worth their salt should hate a race simply because they are different. Israel is a bad apple in a bucket of questionable fruit. I just wish they would stop trying to use the guilt trip of anti-semitism to hide their barbaric acts.

All Messianic Jews I have conventional are actually Jews who now trust Jesus is the Messiah. i do not recognize any who're Gentiles who were given into the Jewish element. in accordance to a pair of persons the following, they don't look to be considered Jews because they switched over, yet they were born of Jewish moms and dads, were raised in the Jewish faith, and choose a religious practice better like what they imagine Jesus preached in. <*)))><

Muslims are not against the Jews just for the sake of it. They are against Jews-occupying-Palestine, a Muslim country, though not all Muslim, Arabs mainly.
The Koran orders them to respect Moses and Jesus and their followers subsequently.

So when Iran supports terrorists with rockets, advisors and money to blow up Israeli people, they really don't mean any harm?? Is that your point? You need help if you really believe that.
