I know most of us (left and right) know that this isn't true. I know some argue he was taken out because he was an immediate threat, but not due to 9/11.
This is well and good, but focus on the question: Why, when polled, does the general populace believe Iraq attacked us that day?

I realize the poll is an older poll and that number is less now, but still relatively high when considering our leaders have even said there is no DIRECT link to the attacks and Iraq.
