Voter id's mean a national id system which could be used by the government for many purposes other than voting. The reality today is that the "government" means the President. Therefore, the ID's could be used without our knowledge or consent for any purpose the President decided would be in the best interests of the US. Read Orwell's, 1984 if you think national id's are good for our country.

It's spelled Democrats. I'm not scared of showing voter ID. Where did you get that idea?

That said, I'm not against showing IDs.. I just don't feel you have to tell someone if you're a republican or democrat when voting. It can lead to unfair voting practices. It HAS happened.

They see it as a way the evil republicans are silencing their primary voting pool, illegal immigrants. While true it would also cut down on voter fraud, however the democrates choose to ignore that fact and simply say its unconstitutional and unfair to allow only americans to vote in americas election, funny huh?
