Israel today launched a massive air assault on suspected terrorist targets along coastal cities of the United States of America. Termed operation Just Reward II, hundreds of Israeli fighter jets streamed across the Atlantic in precise formation and fired surgical air strikes at alleged terrorist strongholds in the heavy Muslim populations of Jersey City and North Bergen, New Jersey. The jets then continued south, inflicting massive destruction in the densely populated northeastern US state.
Reaction to the attacks was swift. President Bush asked for restraint, but stated emphatically that “Israel had the right to defend itself.”

The President, who took an oath to defend the US and to preserve, protect and defend it against all foreign and domestic enemies, said that the fight against suspected terrorist sites and alleged al-Qaeda involvement, coupled with our close relationship with Israel, requires special sacrifices by the American people and special exceptions to both US and international law.
US Congress passed a unanimous resolution in both houses, backing the Jewish state.
The American public was mainly upset and worried about what this would mean for the price of gasoline.

No chance in Hell that will ever happen. The US gives over 5 billion dollars a year in aid to Israel, most of which is put into their army. Those 'Israeli Fighter Jets' are F-16 bought from the US, yes thats right those bombs being dropped on Beirut are US made. The US is Israels only friend, they would never put that in jepardy. because it would basically be suicide. Without the US covering Israels back Israel wouldnt be able to support their own army and the other middle eastern countried would obliterate Israel.
I understand the point that you are trying to make that israel keeps savagly attacking civilian (not to mention UN) targets in lebanon and they are getting away with calling it self defense.(As for all of you who blame this on the lebanese government for harboring terrorists, i ask you to do some reasearch on lebanon you will see that their government is in shambles because Syria invade almost anually, the government has little to no control over what goes on in lebanon, so basically what you all are saying is "Since lebanon has been plagued with war for decades, they should get the hell bombed out of them") Israel clains that the reason for doing so was because palestine is holding some members of their army hostage. Yet everyone forgets to mention that those soldiers were stationed ilegally in palestinian land(a flagrent violation of international law). and as a response the US has asked for restraint, but you have to understand there isnt much the President can do, a couple years back Pres. Bush atempted to cut ties with israel because they a been in continual breech of international law for nearly 10years and periodically for the 20year before that, however he met so much opposition by jewish members of our country that he was forced to forget about it. Believe me Mr Bush wants to use force to stop Israel, but he cant, because as you see by the other posts on this question the Jews believe that it is self defence because they dont look at the facts and see what the israeli government has really been up to- with everything international law Israel has broken and every order from the UN that the deliberately ignored Israel should consider themselves lucky that the attacks have just started now. But dont worry...Israel will get what is comming to them-they have no Idea what they just started becasue they are dramaticaly underestimating the will and power of the arab states that surround them.

Israel has already attacked the USA when it attacked the USS Liberty (an intelligence vessel) on June 8th 1967 killing 34 US service men and wounding at least 173 others. Israel being America's "mini me" the incident was covered up by the Pentagon, was called "a tragic mistake" . Seems Israel makes a lot of "tragic mistakes" like bombing a well known UN outpost for 10 hours.
Israel can do whatever it wants to whomever it wants with impunity. The Chosen People (if they had the capability) could bomb NJ with weapons paid for by the American tax payer and not even receive a slap on the wrist.

Fighter jets across the Atlantic? You are completely clueless, aren't you?
Let's say for sake of argument that the US were allowing thousands of Jihadi Terrorists to operate within our borders. Not just allowing, mind you, but actively aiding these men to attack other countries and kill and main civillians.
Would there be justification for an attack? You bet there would be.
Any country that does not do everything in it's power to fight Jihadis and their evil actions is a friend to our enemies and subject to having others come in to clean up their mess.

Definitely an interesting scenario though I believe strongly that
#1 Israel wouldn't hit its closest and most powerful ally
#2 Israel is not capable of such an attack
#3 Even someone of Bush's low intellect would not condone such an attack
But, in a Tom Clancy sort of way, your question is quite interesting to ponder.

Israel is not an enemy, but an ally. The President would be asking for help from Israel and working with them, like was done during WWII. Israel would NOT just strike cities in the US.

I think this scenario is stupid for one... im pretty sure that Israel doesnt have "hundreds" of fighter jets... and Israel would never attack the United States to begin with.

Funny, but too unrealistic. Israel would be in Muslim hands by now if it wasn't for the US military, financial and political support. They cannot exist without America.

They'd better not touch North Bergen. My favorite radio host lives there. I understand what you are saying. I think you're illustrating the shrewdness that is likened unto used car salesmen, pimps and insurance salesmen.

If we allowed terrorists to operate out of the US, like Lebanon has, and they attempted to destroy Israel, then we would be bringing a war on ourselves wouldn't we?
Just like Lebanon brought it on themselves for not disarming Hezbollah.
I actually think you are an idiot.

I think that this would never happen unless they became more powerful than the US ,and this is not likely to happen , at least for the coming decade.
