USA(better economy) though Canada will be cheaper to hire a lawyer etc
if u fail to be approved for asylum in Canada you will automatically denied in US too. Immigration works very slowly in USA (especially Nebraska Processing Centre).you must have a good case to persuade immigration officer about persecution
Lets say if you will be granted Asylee status In USA .You will be eligible TO APPLY for Greencard after 1 year in asylee status.Now They are processing 2001 august in Nebraska center for greencard(formally) it means asylees who appliedfor greencard in 2001are just being processed in 2006 (formally)
but people wait from 6 yrs to 15 yrs for greencard . I
and everytime if u want to travel out of USA .You must buy refugee travel document from US immigration for 300$ which expires in 12 months . )It takes from 1 month to 4 month to get refugee travel doc .
I recommend you to think twice before applying for Asylum in USA
It will be your golden cage if just thinking to immigrate .dont forget you will not be able vizit your country until you dont get US citizinship.(legally) if you vizit your country of persecution you will automaticlylose your asylum status

Definitely Canada. Canada is now a melting pot of different ethinicities. You are less likely to encounter racism there.

Definitley Canada. It is a less racist and more free country by far, and the stuff there is nearly as cheap as in the US.
