Well, well, well, where do I start.

I happen to know that Canada is probably THE most well balanced country on this planet.

Are things crazy up here? Sure they are, but things are crazy everywhere.

Don't get me wrong now, I'm not a USA basher. In fact I've been to just about every state in the union. From Wash. to Fla., from Calf. to Maine, from Minn. to Tex. Actually the only state I've never been to is Hawaii. 49 out 50 ain't bad I guess. I know many, many americans who can't say they have done, what I have. Now as for Canada, I've been to all 10 Provs. and the 3 territories, and I wouldn't give up living here for anything in the world.

I wonder if the people in southern Arizona and Texas can say the same, what with all their new buddies arriving everyday in droves. It must really be exciting down there.

Odd..........NO WAY.....I LOVE MY CANADA

Canada is certainly different - it is NOT the 51st state. There are many wonderful differences, and some not so wonderful, i.e. their health care system. Right now we should be looking into their immigration policy, because a lot of bad guys find it easier to get into Canada - then they quietly slip over here. All this hullabaloo about the Mexican border - what about Canada? it is SO much easier. I actually love the place.
And who can't love a place which invented hockey and has more curling than all of Europe combined?
Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee...
Don't forget Hockey Night in Canada and the one and only Don Cherry...

Well, it is just unique.

They would like to be different from everyone else, so they have two languages in there. French and English. Though it must be very confusing, it is very beautiful and peaceful there because they take care of the environment more than many countries, making it clean, neat, and pollution-free.

But it would be weird if you had saw this STOP sign in English letters and French words too. :-)

I have never lived there, but I have visited a few times and it is quite a laid back country. Like a nicer version of America. :-)

My wife thinks it is a bit like the film Stepford Wives. Everyone seems to be programmed to be polite!

Why would you think it was odd?
We have free health care, and public services.. we are free to be who we please.. we do not have to conform.. we are free to practice our religions and cultures.. it's a great place to live.

why is it weird?
If there's an oddball nation -- it is definitely U.S.A.!!! (why? no/expensive healthcare, quaint measuring systems, unrestrained markets)
