i.e immigration, hezbollah, iraq, gay marriage, patriot act etc. I mean what are we (left/right wing) divided over if nobody is getting real results? All I see is 1 side bashing the other about their views? And why is that? Why do Republicans call Democrats stupids and why do Democrats think Republicans are insensitive to human life? YES, YES. Americans jump from one government spin to the next. Like sheep jumping over a fence in a dream. The idea is that when the public are beginning to realize that the Emperor has no clothes, the Bush Administration spin doctors drag in a big fat red herring that divides public opinion, and while we are at each others throats, they slip by without a ripple and do their dirties.

I agree. It is so sad that the US has fallen into an ineffectual two-party system. It certainly wasn't the intent of the founding fathers. The only way we will ever get results is if the GOP and the Democratic party disappear, and we get a chance to vote for the candidates that are truly BEST for our interests, instead of the interests of the lobbyists.

You think it's bad now, wait until next presidency election year. Everything gets raised to "red alert", and debated over to death, and nothing will be solved.
