Two questions here really. I've had to file a lawsuit against a client as I am owed a substantial amount for work done and no payment has been made. We started with no contract and did a general contract just a few months ago but contained no payment details except acknowledging that I was indeed owed money. Now they are telling me the investors have stated they will not pay on any past invoices, even though they continue to pay the development company for programming on a product that contains some of my work. I started this process 6 weeks ago and they are now fililng with the court. How long does it take to serve someone once the lawsuit has been filed with the court? And will the arguement stand that this client doesn't have to pay on past invoices at an investor's request and they can take their leisure at repayment while continuing to use my work?

This video can be found on Google Video as "911 Cover Up" and is about 1:21:50.

I posed the question this way, because I realize not everyone on Y! is a US resident/citizen. I don't know how many of you remember the movie "Red Dawn" with Patrick Swayze, Lea Thompson, Charlie Sheen, etc. But I've watched that movie over a donzen times since I was a kid. If you've never watched it, at least do a little research before answering this question.....please. LOL The group of untrained teens that were defending US soil during a war in their country, knew they were at risk of dying, but weren't going to surrender their lives or territory without an all out fight. In recent years, I now see that movie as a plausible reality due to the fact that we have been attacked here on US soil during my adult lifetime and I'm thinking the severity of the attacks will increase. To what extreme would I go through?....I have kids, so I'd definitely be willing to kill to avoid capture and seizure of my home territory...as an EXTREME action.

Israel is commiting a war crime. Do hezboallah fighters hide among United Nations observation post ??
or is this another mistake Israel that we must forgive and forget. Whenever lebanese civilians were killed it was because "hezboallah was hiding among them" . Which is an a big lie to coverup Israeli crimes. The fact they have an intelligence agency, most advanced weapons, one of the best trained armies, yet the majority of dead are civilians. Bombing everything to roads, homes, mosques, churches, ambulances, businesses, airports, ... etc. It tells civilans to flee than strike their vehicles killing and injuring escapees. Than some still say the war is on hezboallah, while you rarely hear of any harm done to them. But it still seems worth it to the Israelis as after they wipeout the whole polpulation of lebanon, they might finally reach hezboallah.
what more proof do some need to realize this war is on the lebanese people and not hezboallah?

Have we forgotten about the human factor in all these wars and conflicts? Weather you’re a Republican or a Democrats, a Conservative or a Liberal have we forgotten that every casualty number that comes in represents a human life? A unique individual that has never existed before and will never exist again, That “number” is a mother or a father, a friend a husband or a wife. Even the so called enemy, they to have families and friends and a life! If we truly knew our “enemy” would they be all that dissimilar from us? They too have a mother and a father, Wives and husband and friends, they love there children just as we do, Im sure they like to have fun and do different things. Have we gotten so narrow that we have forgotten that we are all part of the human race and that every casualty represents a unique person that will never exist again and their death probably effects hundreds of their friends and families?

Every president is good at telling the public what needs to be change, but why don't they do something about it. Look at this, directly from the whitehouse pages. President Bush states he that Social Security needs to change then says he will do nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

President Bush has discussed the importance of Social Security and the need to fix the Social Security system for future generations of Americans.

The President has assured Americans that he will not change the Social Security system in any way for those born before 1950.

On the terrible day of the 9/11 attacks, five hours after a hijacked plane slammed into the Pentagon, retired Gen. Wesley Clark received a strange call from someone (he didn't name names) representing the White House position: "I was on CNN, and I got a call at my home saying, 'You got to say this is connected. This is state-sponsored terrorism. This has to be connected to Saddam Hussein,'" Clark told Meet the Press anchor Tim Russert. "I said, 'But -- I'm willing to say it, but what's your evidence?' And I never got any evidence.'"

And neither did we.

For example, liberals, CA, hippies, swingers, anything goes free-for-all. Clinton, need I say more?! Liberal = no boundaries, limitations with everything incl. & esp. morals.

Conservatives, just that, conservative on most issues, esp. morals.
