regardless of where you stand, pulling out now would be a mistake...not only will show weakness in the US, but it will also prompt even more attacks...but showing that we are unable or not willing to finish will only strength our enimies...however, most people do not see this, and feel that pulling our troops out now would be the best...and that is their right, i just do not agree with it.

Israel tried in every way possible to live peacefully with its neighbors. They are surrounded on all sides with countries that harbor terrorists. From the day Israel was established, the attacks began. The Israelis even bulldozed their own settlements and gave the land to the Arabs, but nothing short of the annihilation of Israel would satisfy them. The suicide bombers got on Israeli school buses and went into the market places. Missiles were aimed at resorts and cities and hundreds more were poised on the border. Israel even built a wall but it didn't keep the terrorists out. When 2 soldiers were kidnapped, Israel had enough. The did what the US should be doing; they went after the terrorist's headquarters and training grounds. These are the same terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 and have attacked Britain, India and other countries. Israel is the only ally of the US in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region. They have a right to defend themselves.

I agree with notyou311; The Israelis are the most hated race of people on this planet, and always have been. People blame them for the most ridiculous things. I heard a guy on the radio the other day say he hated Hollywood, because everything was owned by the Jews. Racists like this spew their nonsensical hatred without showing a bit of logic.
Hezbollah or whatever they're called have been saving up their missiles for a long time. This was a planned event, and Israel stepped up to the plate because right now it is fight or die for them. They are doing the job of the U.N. and the rest of the world right now, because they are fighting all the terrorist-friendly countries.

The war was started under false pretense, it was the first time that the United States ever attacked a sovereign country that posed no threat to it. It is not our business what kind of government that Iraq had nor is it our business to try and make them adopt ours. We are now in the middle of a civil war with 50 Iraqi and a couple of our troops being killed every day. We need to pull out and let them form their own government as a puppet government formed by us will never be accepted by them.

The Israeli government prayed for the attack on Iraq, which has eliminated the strategic threat posed by Iraq. America was pushed into the war by a group of Neo-Conservatives, almost all of them Jews, who had a huge influence on the White House. In the past, some of them had acted as advisers to Binyamin Netanyahuwww.nowarforisrael.com/

WE need to WIN it. To show resolve of US, and to free those innocent civilians that were so oppressed by the Saddam regime to live a life without fear. We have to kick the insurgents AS* all the way back to the dark ages. Iran, Syria, etc are sending in these terrorist to continue the war in Iraq. i am completely for the war in Iraq.. i was in the military, and most people in the military (not the ones who joined for the college money) would probably agree--we can't let terrorists come here and bomb and destroy our country that the military and the citizens have lost their lives trying to protect---if something isn't done, we will lose our country and be killed for our religious beliefs....thank god we had a president in office with balls to do something---the towers were bombed when clinton was president (not forgetting the other stuff too) and what did he do?---not a damn thing--started a war in bosnia to take attention away from monica lewinsky scandal---BOMB ALL THE TERRORISTS TO THE DEEPIST PIT OF HELL BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!!!

What the US should do depends on the message which it is desired to send to the bad guys. If the message is to be "If you are nasty enough and persistent enough, we will bug out so that you can continue to be nasty," then the troops should come home. If the message is to be "if you are nasty enough and persistent enough, we will pound you into the ground," then we should stay around and pound them into the ground.
