On the terrible day of the 9/11 attacks, five hours after a hijacked plane slammed into the Pentagon, retired Gen. Wesley Clark received a strange call from someone (he didn't name names) representing the White House position: "I was on CNN, and I got a call at my home saying, 'You got to say this is connected. This is state-sponsored terrorism. This has to be connected to Saddam Hussein,'" Clark told Meet the Press anchor Tim Russert. "I said, 'But -- I'm willing to say it, but what's your evidence?' And I never got any evidence.'"
And neither did we.

Anyone can ask questions about 9/11 -- it is not a political issue. Some questions, however, are more reasonable than others -- witness the people who think that the whole thing was a Jewish conspiracy to throw bad light on the Arabs. It is a waste of time to try to reason with people who have demonstrated no capacity to reason on their own.

Is it no longer sufficient that we've prevented many assaults on our soil? Be grateful..

I hate to say it, but it is the same old thing. Conservatives are terrified of Americans doing any thinking outside the box of Lush Rimba and Fox News. They seem to go hysterical if we even consider that things are not exactly what the government spoon feeds to us. Why are they so scared of a little speculation?

Nascar - Animal beer patriotism.
Do not ask questions!
Yes we should be able to ask questions. We should be able to DEMAND answered.
What is unAmerican is to stand by, silently, while our country gets raped. Our forefathers are probably roling in their graves. Think of all the Blood thats been shed for what we are letting them take away, without protest, without dissent.

Yes we do. There is plenty of evidence and people will start to come around as the pain of that day subsides and they can look at it objectively.
Just keep asking: What happened to WTC 7?

Don't you think the country would be better off if libs and cons stopped acting like whining 6-year-olds and worked together instead of trying to destroy this country?
